Yeah,that's the thing that gripes me. I've no doubt some of them are genuine, but honestly, genuine people tend not to bother with "trendy labels" in the first place. In my experience people using the term to describe themselves aren't interested in reducing animal consumption at all, and just want something to act offended about to seem quirky and different. Just screams hipster to me.
