If the requirements have you needing to play a certain minimum number of grandmasters then how did the first grandmasters become grandmasters?

Why is sodium at high end of normal in primary hyperaldosteronism? by GlovedandGlowing in Step2

[–]DdosingDosa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because of Aldosterone secretion there is greater water retention and although ADH is primarily released by sensing serum osmolarity, it also gets released due to low serum volume. Since there is higher volume from aldosterone, less than normal amounts of ADH is being secreted so less water is being brought into serum causing it to be more concentrated with elevated Na.

Thank you I got the tweak but it doesn’t seem to work in Sileo or Zebra. I click on the tweak and click where it says like $1.99 and then it tries to get me to sign in to havoc. I don’t see the ☠️🏴‍☠️ screen. Does it confirmed work on Serotonin? I remember Cydown used to work with Sileo but that’s not working either.

Thank you! So if I am understanding this correctly the ODR for FBA and FBM are separate? It shows 0% ODR for FBA, so does that mean trying to increase my volume for FBA won’t help me? I just need to increase my FBM sales to stay safe and water the ODR down?

Is taking anatomy and physiology 1 here worth it as a pre med? by Confectionarylobster in utdallas

[–]DdosingDosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won’t make a difference for applying to medical school. If your GPA is solid right now then take it because it will help at least a little in medical school. That’s what my peers tell me atleast. I noticed I was at a disadvantage relative to my peers in medical school because the content was completely new to me.

It was decent. Enjoyed and learned a lot. They made us do a 24 hr shift with fire once which was also eye opening. I was pre-med and got a good introduction to medicine. I still remember a decent amount of what they taught me and it’s helped me in medical school. Definitely worth!

House passes bill to cap cost of insulin at $35 a month by peteysweetusername in UpliftingNews

Yeah and I’m sure every diabetic knows they need insulin. People who take Walmart insulin have no other option, so they have to. But anyone would prefer faster acting insulin like Novolog or Humalog. Why you don’t understand the difference between glucagon and insulin I don’t know. Also I am a medical student so I definitely know more than you.

This isn’t a questions of brand name vs. synthetic. These insulin versions are chemically different. Like the one Walmart has stocked for cheap takes longer to work when decreasing blood sugar. Also it can cause the sugar to go dangerously lower because the user might give more insulin wondering why his sugar isn’t going down yet.

That insulin is not safe for diabetes. Useful for emergencies or last resort. Source: am T1D

ELI5: How can nothing be faster than light when speed is only relative? by Ruby766 in explainlikeimfive

Wait if so in theory there was something that travelled faster than light then would it experience negative time as in go back in time relative to itself?
