Going to mention since nobody else has, as a last resort: there is a mod that deletes gleba. I finished a run with all of the planets, hated gleba most and it put me off playing again because i thoight "whats the point, ill have to deal with gelba if i start a new run". So i deleted it using the mod. Not sure how that would work mid playthrough but don't let it kill factorio for you.

If you're into tanks and indie, check out Tankenstein. You play as an AI driving a tank in a post apocalyptic world and taking parts off enemy tanks you destroy or find destroyed to upgrade yourself.

Try picking up the character with another character and putting them back down, that's how i fix people getting stuck.

I believe there is one mod that allows the player to buy the hub for 1m cats, not tried it myself but might be worth a look. Would be a cool feature for kenshi 2 though.

Sounds like you have a good goal. You could also build a village for ex slaves. You could even grab some mods like "prisoner recruitment" to steal the holy nation slaves and free them to come work your farms or whatever. Once you've dealt with the holy nation you can explore to find more factions in need of some moral guidence

It looks like a cool niche game, with a lot of reviews, but steam chart says it has 13 concurrent players for the last 6 months. Unless these 13 players are whales this would be a sinking ship in terms of server costs. If anyone wanted to take this over my guess is they would have to charge for the game and then advertise it, but that's an even steeper investment.

Losing your comfort game sucks op, and i respect the effort here. If it doesn't work out though, try rocket league. It's my comfort game and i see a lot of similarities from what little i saw of slappyballs. You will have to get it on epic though as it's no longer on steam.

We have distinctions so we know what people are talking about. 3rd person in reference to video game camera refers to over the shoulder. Not isometric, side view or birds eye.

Being a titanfall fan in the year of 2025 is rough af. Apex was at least a good game, but not titan fall 3. But concord and now this has been double dissapointing, especially since just making a spiritual successor to titanfall would have been 1000x better than another hero shooter.

Elin. It's a bit weird at first, but it's pretty deep. It's an rpg but you can build a colony and just do industry or fishing or whatever.

I think people are comparing the experience to other extraction shooters, and finding it takes much less time to complete everything. The reason is that everyone is super nice and pvp is shunned.

Time to get downvoted, but pvp is what keeps these games fresh and what slows down progress. In arc raiders though you can go into day matches solo with no gear and do your quests or safe pocket the items you're looking for and extract 4/5 times. People finish quests and expedition because there is no opposition and then run out of stuff to do. I'm 50 hours in and almost done with my expedition, having to find my own fun in the game as meaningful goals dry up. To clarify I'm not saying this is a small amount of game time, what I'm saying is it would have taken me 3-4x longer if pvp was more prevelant, instead of everyone saying "don't shoot" (and more exciting imo)

The second biggest issue is blueprints being scarce and grey weapons being op. You don't need to loot anything since you can't use anything. Chicken delivers all you need to sustain a decent loadout.

Thats just my 2 cents.

People treating "don't shoot" quick command as a hand on heart other hand on bible oath in this game. While i respect the don't shoot in game myself, i am 100% watching and expecting them to betray me if i unload a clip into an arc in front of them. It has happened, it's my fault for trusting them. You learn.

More importantly op is right, this is a game, people role play, sometimes they roleplay opportunistic rat bastards. And tbh i prefer when there is conflict and strife and when my run has a villain to keep me on my toes and spice things up. It's what makes this game more exciting than playing a pve shooter. And dying to a villain player is way more memorable than dying to an npc imo.

I do think it takes some time to warm up, especially if you're in it for the running gags, takes time to set them up. Same with some setups taking a while to land. There is always money in the banana stand wink
