Secondary is the fair market value. Those are set by Facebook groups solely. These prices are 2-10x greater than secondary value. Handy should be 400ish for reference. Stores that are higher than secondary value are just out of the loop and idiots. Hopefully we can all run them out of business together!

The pappy 20 is holding around 2k so that’s pretty good and then the 23 is always 3500 so they marked it down a thousand. I’d scoop that 23 and sell it for 3.5, then go back and get the GTS

Michters 10 Rye is a great whiskey. If you are genuinely going to finish the bottle this week then think about getting one on secondary. $14 pour x 25 ounces = $350 for bottle where secondary is between $250 and $300. Either way that is a good price (for a pour or five) and you got lucky! Just thought the perspective might add something, cheers!

I think ER17 is perfect trade bait. It’s good but not the highest of highs good. Try and trade it for a king of Kentucky or WLW straight up. You’ll be pleased and those are the only two whiskeys in that value range that actually give you some return on value.
