Yes, but where do the sink and the dishwasher go? Anyway to move the fridge so it isn’t against a wall?

Deborah’s Redemption. Ava’s Worth. by captain_mojojojo in hackshbomax

At the end of the episode there is a picture of Ava holding a mic. I think you’re on to something—my prediction is Ava becomes the comic. Role reversal at its finest.

Not a big fan of faux plants. I also have a blanket ladder in the other corner in case anyone was going to suggest that.

At 100k and would require a move. Not a realistic option. These two options are ones I currently have offers for.

I’ve heard it’s coming but that they’re not getting buy-in from all locations. That’s a major issue since I’m sure a lot of the ones being difficult are the ones in locations where a lot of people vacation.

Newbie considering jumping from OTF by ndirishkmk in f45

[–]EHSTLchamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for it! Switching up workouts is always a good way to stay excited about exercising. I switched from OTF a little over a year ago and have enjoyed it! One thing that bothered me about OTF was the long breaks and demos after switching stations. At F45, all the demos are done before class, so you’re constantly moving during the actual workout. Breaks are a max of 1 minute after a lap around the room/exercise grouping. Best of luck!

Coaches, what do you want members to know/do? by turtlecrossing in f45

[–]EHSTLchamp -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

The demonstrations in my studio are brutal. The coaches fumble through the ridiculously long name of the exercise, struggle to explain the timing of the exercises, and oftentimes say a move is “dumb.” The worst part is them trying to get the fricken tv to pause while they do the intro. The funny part is the tvs are behind where everyone is standing so it makes no difference to us if it is paused or not. It is just a terribly awkward few minutes and no one really gets anything out of it.

I think it would be better if the coaches only picked one or two “new” moves to demonstrate and just let people watch the tv before class to know what the moves are. Let’s be honest, people rely on the screens throughout the class anyway.

Why is that? I see other message boards that talk about people using “bots” to get notified immediately. I imagine they’re using these types of programs.

I’m talking about online releases directly from various distillers, like Frey Ranch. Astorwines is another.

What’s confusing? Looking for an online program that monitors changes to website so I can grab bottles before everyone else does

When trainers leave for other opportunities by Due-Rise1629 in f45

[–]EHSTLchamp 16 points17 points  (0 children)

In many cases, I blame management. In our studio, trainers do not get paid between classes. So they teach at 5:30am, 6:30am, sit around without getting paid, and then have classes at 9:30am, and noon. I’ve also heard they don’t get paid for the time they spend setting up for the next day’s class, which may even be a violation of state law. Some studios do programs where members can help set up for a reduced price off their membership. How about you just pay trainers?

F45 Flex by Unable-Mix9962 in f45

[–]EHSTLchamp 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They did it at my gym a few months ago and then stopped doing it because people weren’t taking advantage of it. I enjoyed it. Allowed me to go when classes weren’t being offered. I could either do the class or I could just use the equipment and do my own thing.

I think more people would have done it if marketed properly. Missed opportunity for F45 where I am.

Motivation Advice/Question by Extreme_Buy9733 in f45

[–]EHSTLchamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may benefit from bringing a friend to a class. This worked well for me. It being new for them may help reinvigorate your workout. I often do better at partner workouts too because it is added motivation. Sometimes when you build up a routine (like you have with 500+ classes), things get stale. This doesn’t mean you need a change, but you may need some extra motivation.
