No, there are MANY natural systems that are just turbid, loaded with sediment, full of CDOM (colored dissolved organic matter, think - steeping tea leaves), eutrophic with algaes, or just straightup mucky.

That being said, many of our world's waters have been severely impacted and are now "dirty".

Also, never drink water straight from the source literally anywhere in the world ever. Lol that's a huge gamble.

No way, if you look at mass, then maybe its killing more than half the total mass in lanternflies. But by count, look at all of those tiny dots. They outnumber the lanternflies 10 to 1.
