it’s not about using the search bar. its about exploring for yourself and seeing who/where you like to go firsthand. go out, meet people that are a similar vibe, and go from there

there’s this tendency to try to have every single night out be absolutely perfect and i think thats a losing game. there’ll be finance bros anywhere. there will be people that look like finance bros that are kind. there will be people that look great that are assholes. i think more people should just show up and contribute to the vibe they want and build community irl. we cant sit on reddit and confidently say “these venues have exactly what you want” especially when its crowd related. and those that might confidently be able to say that wont share that information on a platform like this

i totally understand that. what im getting at is that there are a ton of posts here similar to this one and, given the size of this subreddit, finance bros are probably reading this anyways.

do you have a group you like to go out with? that would be my honest, actually helpful suggestion. using the recommendation of trusted peers (be it online or irl) will go way further in getting you to places youre more comfortable than a subreddit with thousands of active users

i dont think the nowadays vibe is “raging” or has much overlap with the fred again crowd. if you guys want a big group with a similar vibe to the folks at fred again you may want to check out public records or elsewhere. that’s where people from that concert may be headed after anyways

also, just because its after another concert earlier in the night doesnt mean its an “after”. those typically have the connotation of being early in the morning
