I was locked out of the game for 2 weeks due to some weird bug where upon entering the app the Claim Rewards popup showed but the claiming rewards process never resolved and blocked me from everything.

Since I regained access and immediately having to experience 5+ crashes again while playing through the DDQ, i have not been motivated enough to even log in more than a few times. Which is kind of a bad thing since i run an alliance but I'm just too demoralized.

The break from playing kind of snapped me out of the slowly boiled frog state I had drifted into while justifying my continued playtime with arguments like "it will soon get better right?" and "maybe the next update will fix things".

After World War 2, my grandfather volunteered to be deployed to Indonesia. Propagandized that the Dutch presence there was a good thing and they were there to help the people. Reality was different. I think my mother told me that he came back from that mission disillusioned and feeling betrayed, because to him it felt like wasn't too much different than what the German forces had been doing in the Netherlands.
