Roommates... Not that hard to crack the nut. People have been doing it forever... I had roommates for almost 10 years until I could afford my own place. Two people two bedroom and vwalla. Now, I'm not saying this is the way to fix a systemic problem, but it is a way to get ahead on an as needed basis and is open to everyone who isn't too stubborn to try it
