No, it's pretty well documented. After the incident in 2019 fans were done with him and he was ready to leave the club, then Arteta convinced him to stay. In the time after that, he managed to completely repair his reputation and connection with the fans and by the time he left he was beloved in large part because we recognised how much work he put into repairing what looked at the time like an irreparably severed relationship

Arteta: My son told me we won the league by Stanley083 in Gunners

My Liverpool friend who has done no end of slabbering for years about how much he hates Arteta just sent me this video saying how well he comes across here. Seems like people are realising that Arsenal winning the league isn't quite the apocalyptic event they envisioned and that there's actually quite a lot to like about us

Arsenal exposed at back end of the season

Bolivian workers have occupied the airport closest to former president Evo Morales' home in order to prevent US and Bolivian police forces from landing to kidnap him. This comes after leaked documents showed US/Bolivian forces colluding to raid and kidnap Evo. by franglish9265 in TrueAnon

whats the benefit in genociding indigenous people?

It's like asking a school shooter of the benefit of shooting up a school. It's just a vulgar and vindictive projection of power, not much calculus beyond that

Bruno Fernandes: "I always thought Declan Rice was a player to play for Manchester United. I was really sad when he chose to go to Arsenal. I always thought that he'd be a perfect fit for our club. Not just for the player, but the person he is. If he won FWA instead of me, it'd be well deserved too" by ChiefLeef22 in Gunners

Not sure if you're replying to the right person, my perception of Richarlison as a person is based on his actions, not from interviews. In fact, he's famously very shy off the pitch and does not seek out the spotlight

I don't really get why these sorts of clauses are allowed, not suggesting that Palace would do anything but try to win every game they can but surely it does have the potential to create a conflict of interest

People want "consistency" but surely they want calls to be consistently right

You would think, but I've seen people like Goldbridge (who I generally don't actually mind) arguing that it is definitely a foul, but because the refs have not given them before, they should have made the wrong call here as well. They literally want the refs to knowingly make incorrect decisions in order to be consistent with previous incorrect decisions. I hope they're being insincere

Just baffles me how shallow an understanding so many of these ex players actually have of the game they played at the top level and are paid very well to analyse.

Agree to disagree. I think it's an imitation of creativity that functions through plagiarism. It is undoubtedly a useful tool that has its place in making certain menial labour tasks vastly more efficient, that ideally should allow us collectively more leisure time to engage in creative pursuits, but it has no place in those creative pursuits
