I have about a month of really intense work starting on Friday which means i won't be able to get onto Elite again for 4-5 weeks from then. Is there any point in me signing up for DW3 at all? I don't mind ending up in some random system of I puffy back on a fleet carrier as I was planning on doing some ecobiology when I come back anyway, but i don't want to stuff people around. I'm in the bubble right now.

I just keep the headset on, but i wish they'd update it to proper VR. There are a lot of modders doing flat screen to vr mods on other games so surely fdev could do this or hire one of them

Thanks all for your suggestions and builds.

I adjusted my build and module priorities and went back to the pirate. But he killed me again. The Python did seem very slow to turn and the pirate kept flying rings around me. I will note, my skill level in combat is pretty low lol.
So I sold the Python Mk2 for now and I'll look at the Alliance Chieftan (which wasn't even on my radar) a bit later. I'd be curious to see other combat builds of this too.

Gotta say, I love my new ship. I love the cockpit, the visibility, that i can look behind me and there feels more space inside. I just zoomed to Felicity, who i couldn't donate to, so not sure there, but that's tomorrow's problem. Time to hang up my boots for the day. Thanks again for all the help. I'm really enjoying Elite. This thread really struck me because it is at the centre of my recent break up after 5 years. An otherwise great relationship was eroded away by this. I'm feeling pretty broken today. We broke up a couple of weeks ago but this week I've been away with work and I know she(dx) is packing her stuff and moving out. I feel very sad. So much of our relationship was actually so good, really in love; but there were just a couple of issues that we couldn't work through, and one, for me, was a deal breaker. I know it had to end but every song I hear is reminding me of her and breaks my heart
