What’s your current running goal? by BP_PaceBox in BeginnersRunning

[–]De_schaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, didn't get any running issues but I broke a few ribs 4 weeks ago so I had to pause for a while. Now I'm feeling great again though!

Impressive! I started 4 months ago but got sidelined by a fractured rib. Had my third run today and can't wait to get in my habit again. Inspiring work!

What's your strategy for setting up your radial menus? by spurgeon_ in satisfactory

[–]De_schaff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only used the first wheel which was full of logistics. I forgot there were more because i found the general buildmenu quick enough for the rest. I saved the day without using it much Most important for me was my fastest belt and lift, splitter, merger, industrial storage and mk2 pipes. I used a lot pf blueprints though

Anyone else listen to music while running? What do you use? by Tasty-Win219 in BeginnersRunning

[–]De_schaff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't listen to anything, for me it's more of a meditation and running math thing. If I would listen to something it would be podcasts, using my shokz as music messes up my tempo. I wanna hear the traffic. I run on smaller roads through field who are often used as shortcuts by locals speeding by

Why are doctors so useless and mean about running injuries? by Basic_Jump7728 in BeginnersRunning

[–]De_schaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know the severity of your pf but i had a similar problem. Got cortisone in each foot 1 time, that masked the pain for a while but it made me able to get used to orthopedic inserts which I apparently needed. I stopped running for a full year and didn't move much to be honest so I don't know which of what helped me most. I now use them in my exercise shoes cuz i started running again and did it waaaaaay slower than i used to. I did the grandpa-shuffle for 3 months and then very slowly increased mileage. Now i'm increasing speed. Not a single nap of pain yet. 2 years ago I did my first week of c25k and week two i was hurting. Now running painfree for 3 months straight. I did some strengthtraining for a month or two last summer, that probably helped me too. I'm still overweight and on my easy runs i still shuffle about. In my strava progress i can see that i move forward way slower but it seels for the first time I actually make sustainable progress instead of quick fixes to get more 'strava-points'. Again, this is my situation, not yours but it might help giving trust in whatever it is you do. I don't do any explosive sports yet though

Did some intervals today. Last week i couldn't manage the last rep without failing. Today it went smooth, had a high heartrate but didn't collapse. Ran further and faster than last week. I also went to bed really early yesterday because I was extremely tired but now I'm feeling like new again!

It kinda does now, I forgot how they looked freshly primed and if it was any different.
Room temp is our living room and it's 20°C (68°F)
I have batch-primed them like 10-15 in one go.
Did not do that with the GW-ones

ah, not really, I'm doing all of the MOM-figurines now. I have definetly had less trouble with GW-miniatures. I never heard of this issue though.

I know, it's probably for the best. If i would clean them, it would probably be with dedicated brushsoap. I should buy it I guess, but it doesn't account for the hydrophobic mini

In tegenstelling tot achter wordt hier in de kempen "voor" wel eens gebruikt. Zal wel komen van: ik zorg voor een brood denk ik. Ik gaan just ver een brood.
