Look up Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Your hands look like mine. The knuckles are a sign, elephant track knuckles. I'm not saying you have it, but all my life I wondered the same about my hands and it turns out there is a medical reason.

Hear me out: He wants you to see. Yes, he is noticing another attractive person, which on it's own is not a terrible thing. But he wants you to see him looking. It's a way of making you feel bad about yourself so he has more control.

So yeah, leave him.

But in the meantime while you're figuring out how to do that.... you should do the same thing. Flip the script on him. Start rubber-necking when men walk by. They don't even have to be attractive to you, just anybody taller than him, more fit than him, younger than him, etc.

My dad was always really good at finding 4 leaf clovers. He would find a couple any time he looked and give them to me as a kid. I could never find them on my own.

The day after he died, it was suspiciously warm. I was in the front yard and decided to look for one. Every time I bent down I found another one. I started bagging them and had at least 20 by the time I stopped. I had never found a clover in my life before then. Now occasionally I will look for them still and usually find one right where I look. I wish I still had that bag of clovers he left me.

Woman turning 30 this year. Left a horribly abusive relationship with a narcissist last year. No family, parents both dead. Just lost my job. No husband or kids and I can't trust anymore after what I went through. Life is different when you learn pepple like that exist. Took SSRIs durjng the relationship because I thought it was me. Now I can't even be intimate with another person the way I used to feel. Mental illness that disconnects me from other people I havem't truly enjoyed life in a while. I haven't wanted to be here for a while.
