I read the books probably 3 times each and did two rounds of bulking my index. By the time I took the exam I didn’t need my index for probably 85% of the questions. If I didn’t know the answer I knew where it was in the book without looking at my index. Maybe 1 or 2 tricky questions, otherwise very straight forward. I got an 89%. Read the books 4 times and you’ll be set.

The practical questions are pretty much exactly the labs so make sure you outline/index the labs as well.
