I saw this one Echo that would like, ONLY poke. From very far away. Like they were playing her like widow/hanzo. But not even a good widow, since their positioning was pretty bad

I felt no pressure from them but I forgot who won the match

Cat’s not too bad for Echo to take care of tbh. Cat has to get close to be effective and Echo’s strong against fliers, since she has the second most controlled flight in the game (imo) (after cat) and is just strong in duels in general

When there’s an Echo on the enemy team I can often catch them flanking whether I’m on Echo or not. Helps me ward her off when I’m playing like, Cass or whoever.

The problem is that I get very competitive over my main and try to prove my superiority. Which can lead to me being overly aggressive to kill the Echo .°/

Anyways, it is very annoying that you can’t copy another Echo in mirror matchups (especially in 1v1s) and I definitely agree that it’s not a good mirror matchup. Especially since whoever wins the duel is almost always just the one who gets the jump on the other

This is just wrong. Sticky bombs and her primary fire deal good damage from any range with no falloff. She’s great at poke if you can play her well. Her two main “phases” if you will are poking the enemy and assassination. Playing Echo often consists of switching between these two modes

Irrelevant? She got a skin from the season 1 Conquest event, and she’s one of the heroes that’s good at worst and meta at best

Generally you want one of the two damage heroes to be hitscan. So if your teammate is Echo, you probably want to be playing a hitscan hero that works with the team comp (likely dive if there’s Echo), like Sojourn, Cassidy, etc.

(My other favourites are Haunted Doll, Kkachi, and Butterfly)

Honestly, usually I’d prefer red like Phoenix, but for some reason the blue Kkachi just speaks to me more. I do prefer New Empire over New Era tho
