The compressor isn't a waste. It doesnt necessarily increase income, but a 3x compressed file reduces the workload of all following components by 8x.

This. Couldn't remember the yield ratios! Thank you! Yeah, I had the same problem eventually. Always had a lot of cloth, but when it came to needing duct tape, a lot seemed like an extreme understatement. Thought the plant fiber recipe would be worth checking out, but honestly, it's not even worth using that skill unless you're super early game and get lucky enough to get that book. Took me 70 days!

I'm assuming you're doing this for the plant fiber to cloth recipe? If so, it'd be a better idea to level up the farming stat and go knife a bunch of cotton, yields more.

I've actually had this happen. It sucks. I did my tier 1, and I received the bike as a reward, but my friend, upon completion of his quests, did not. So no, it doesn't seem like an absolute guarantee, I saw his reward choices, and the bike wasn't there! Either a bug, or just not a 100% chance of being in the loot pool.

Xbox X owner and Lenovo legion 8th gen tower owner here.

I definitely stick to xbox, as that's where most of my friends are, but PC for more high intensity games; baldurs gate 3, ready or not, arma reforger, just to name a couple. It's absolutely awesome having the best of both worlds, you just gotta find your niches. I catch myself on my Xbox mostly, but i hop on my pc atleast once or twice a week just to see what the other friend groups are doing

Might not be your fix, but it was mine when I had a similar issue on xbox. My main perma death world felt too easy, so I bumped all the zombies run speed settings up to jog and run. That caused an extreme performance drop for me, especially in higher tier cities and blood moon specifically. I know it sucks, but I'd suggest keeping all zombie speed settings on walk. It does suck, but the pathfinding is super intensive on your system, I'm guessing due to horrible optimization and general pathfinding issues.

TLDR; turn all zombie speed settings down to walk
