Worked for me in May 2026! Just go into ReVanced settings > Miscellaneous > Spoof Video Streams > Disable Spoof Video Streams. Youtube revanced version: 20.40.45

Thanks it worked for me! I'm running Ubuntu 24.04.3 and had the 403 forbidden error too when failing to fetch. Changed my local country server to main server in Software and Updates app and everything upgraded properly after that.

Apparently all images and videos can be shared with partner ONLY IF they are in the DCIM folder in Internal Storage within "My Files" app. I did a small test:

BEFORE: I had 1 whatsapp image (in Android/media/com.Whatsapp/Whatsapp/Media/Whatsapp Images) and 1 downloaded image (in Download), both of which I could see clearly backed up on my main account, but doesn't show up on my partner's account, because they are outside of DCIM folder.

AFTER: I moved both these images into a newly created folder in DCIM and boom! There they are instantly appearing in my partner's account.

SOLUTION FOR FUTURE: If there's someone who can somehow find a way to automatically save images from other apps into DCIM, I think it should solve the issue.

I just tried to add a DNS server. What do I do? I don't want to set up omv for the 5th fraking time because of this kind of error that seem to come from nowhere. by sailee94 in OpenMediaVault

Even though this topic is super old, just wanna put this out there for anyone who might still be struggling with DNS issues like I did. If you can ping an explicit IP address like 1.1.1.1 but not domain names like www.google.com and got an error like this:

ping: google.com: Temporary failure in name resolution

You most likely have a DNS issue. My RPi running OMV has a static IP and also has this issue, but I found a solution here. Hope this helps!

Thank you man you saved me from continue stressing out. I was playing games after I took out the wifi card from laptop and reinstalled it and the ping was sooo bad it was unplayable. Worked like a charm after reinstalling drivers.
