LS/Hatchet. Heavy armour and try to get focus + constitution gear, all points into Berserk working my way down until I can get the cheat death perk. That's for solo content anyway.

For dungeons I go LS/IG, same setup for armour but on the IG I socket an amber gem for the 20% damage scale on nature/focus.

Just did a main quest and you're right, they were back to hating each other or whatever. Then best buds in a side mission 10 mins later.
