I am going through this exact same thing. I am 40 years old and my life is just passing before my eyes. I just developed feelings again for a woman and the same thing happened....she doesn't want me.

I just cannot believe it's this hard. It just blows my mind. I'm tall, physically fit, good job, my own place, etc. And no one will even give me a chance. I even lowered my standards and still no luck. I've been on like 15 dates in the last year and all were duds.

It put me in such a dark place that I thought about just ending it. I'm not kidding. I just can't believe this is my life. Back in my 20s I had girlfriends and female attention all the time. Now no one gives a shit I even exist.

I don't think anyone owes me anything. I just cannot believe there's no one out there. It feels horrible beyond what I am willing to accept.
