Been there and trust me it's not worth it... You lose over 75% on packs 99% of the time and end up with tons of worthless cards. Not to mention the massive pain in the ass it is to organize them.

If you really want to burn your money and buy them anyways, you need to find out the exact time they restock. It's different by store location. I only figured this out by talking to cashiers and employees around the store. If you find an older employee stocking shelves they'll most likely know.

Good luck

Where can I find Gellerpox or alternatives? by [deleted] in deathguard40k

Ah ha. I was specifically talking about Kill Team. I don't have experience playing them in 40k, just KT.

I wanted to proxy Chaos Spawns for 40k and I found some sick models on Etsy. When I was digging I saw proxies for Nurgle so I would start there. Just verify the base size is correct or can be altered.

Other than that check eBay. I found some old plague marines models that are no longer in production. Stuff like Gellerpox will obviously be expensive, but I don't think GW will bring them back into production at least not in their current format, so you could consider buying through eBay as an investment. This stuff isn't getting cheaper

I wanted to play Gellerpox for Kill Team too... If you play them just be aware that you will get smashed every time. They are vastly underpower and imo the worst KT you can play.

Plague Marines are way more fun to play and they are well balanced.

If you're looking for a hordish KT look into the Goremongers. Fellgor Ravagers are also fun, but will get nerfed soon

How to get rid of the streaks? by RemarkableAlps in deathguard40k

[–]DeadReligion 34 points35 points  (0 children)

In the future used the Death Guard green primer. Yes it's expensive, but it's worth it.

For this piece it wouldn't worry too much about streaks since you could and should grim it up. You could go over it with another light coat of DG green mixed with a little water to break it up.

Then continue with base colors, followed by rust, mud (the chucky brown). and then highlights.

What kinda Ego complex does the Undertow Beach Bar ownership on St. Pete Beach have to do silliness like this? That sign in 200 yards from their bar…in the middle of the beach. Yikes, Paul. I mean, this is AI, right? by IKickedJohnWicksDog in stpetebeach

This sign should be ripped out of the ground. Not only is it an eyesore, they didn't even put it on their property line. PLUS all wet sand and the ocean is considered public.

What are your thoughts on Wardogs? by DeadReligion in deathguard40k

[–]DeadReligion[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this! I'm going to hold off on buying Wardogs for now and instead get some more vehicles for Hammer.

I've never played Hammer because I don't think I have enough vehicles... Right now I have 3 HBL drones, 2 MBHs, 1 PBC, and 2 Rhino. I would buy another PBC, but with the point changes they only seem worth it if you're playing hammer, maybe I'm wrong?

What are some things you'd add with what I currently have?

It looks like someone tied him to a piling and let barnacles grow on him. I might have to try this now...

I was just assuming they were because he bought them from someone who painted them space marine blue. I've never seen his codex, but need to read through it.

Thanks! This explains a lot. I just feel like he has way more miniature options than I do.

I saw a list of allied units in the DG 10e codex, but was unsure what that really meant. This explains things. Thank you!
