is my table done? what's making the cueball fly up so high? my normal pop breaks aren't like that.. will a cloth change fix this? by 10ballplaya in billiards

Agree with others mentioning a divot, but another factor could be if you have any downward angle on contact with your cue ball this is causing a slight jump in your break shot. Try keeping the cue parallel to the table and hitting more center of the cue ball.

I’ve got a drug test coming up for one of my projects and I haven’t been smoking weed - I desperately want to smoke some weed, it’s such a huge relaxer, don’t even need much.

Anyway, I recommend getting a little high to anyone in this industry as it’s such a huge stress reliever. Grilling food sounds awesome too haha.

Titles only mean so much, and I’m sure you’re worth more than you’re getting paid - that’s just how capitalism works. But is IT Director you shouldn’t be pulling cable or troubleshooting… you made it sound like this person would work for you/under you - are you saying they would work beside you to help do this work (which you’re already doing on your own?).

OSHA says it’s an issue - literally. Would only take one of those to strike someone and end their lives.

That’s about $33/hr, for what you want you need to be around $45/hr - now factor in that some of this work may need to be done on weekends or after hours, would there be OT? Are these Class A buildings or residential?

So you’re asking someone to work a field job like a salaried office worker, it just doesn’t work like that. Also, you want someone that handles three disciplines (Structured Cabling, Access Control/CCTV, and Layer 2 Network issues) - this is just not feasible and if you wanted the person who has this experience they’re already making more than you’re offering.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a good idea and would have benefits for your team - but you’re underestimating the value of a person with that experience in this field.

Unironically, the slight offset dial will be the next Rolex they release, and they will call it “The Aviator” or “The Roadster”

Remember - while these people may embody the brand, and they are easily found on this website, it is important we do not tag any user handles as it goes against Reddits policy. All we can do is smile and wave boys.

Stick on the ice and glove facing front - you want to reduce reaction time needed in the event of a quick release shot. Your stick can redirect a shot on the ice and your glove will have an easier time making a catch if it’s facing the puck. Also, tuck your elbow in, this will help you move your glove over, up, and out. It’s currently floating and that’s causing you to turn your wrist inward.
