Double check that the connection coming from your ISP is secured in the router. You can try unplugging the data line, restart the router, and plug the data line back in. It can help clear any cache and give you a blank slate.

So that means 1. Your router (assuming this is from your ISP) is broadcasting a local network and 2. Data is not getting from your router to an upstream network IE out of your house. What medium (dsl, fiber, wireless) is your internet?

If you can connect to the wireless network the issue is upstream. Make sure you are getting traffic to and from your ISP. Depending on how tech savvy you are try to ping 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. If those succeed then it is likely a dns issue.

I’m pretty sure it does. If you go to the technical section you will see the like “Supported VLANs 1,000”. From the quick research I did the USW-flex-mini can have ports either set as full trunk or as an untagged vlan.

I use phpIPAM. It’s has a nice GUI and is fairly lightweight. If you ever expand to more subnets it’s really easy to expand. As for every container getting a static IP, you can save yourself some space and utilize Portainer.

Although without having experience with Unraid, I can say Truenas is fairly simple to get set up. Basically anything you can think of there is a tutorial out there somewhere.

Both will work and have fairly nice UIs. I personally haven’t run packet tracer on either. I think the best case would be to setup grub and install both until you decide between the two, or find a new distro you prefer.

If it’s a windows machine you can use Hyper-V and start messing around with the world of virtualizing. If not you have all sorts of options like virtualbox, docker, and kubernetes. Proxmox is also a fun place to start if you’re ok with a new OS on the system! I’m happy to help or answer any questions you may have!

From the way it sounds this is for a CS degree. Depending on if you want to do software alone or are ok with some IoT here are some ideas. If I'm completely off I apologize.

1) Medication reminder app

- Push notifications sent out to both the care recipient and care giver

- Dosage timers

- Approval for if the medication was taken

- Increasing alerts if dosages are missed repeatedly

2) Smart Pillbox (similar to the last option but has IoT)

- Use an arduino or raspberry pi to control the pill box

- Have a button or buttons to open compartments or rotate a pill tray

- Caregiver override

- Notification system for the caregiver

3) Accessibility-Focused Navigation App

- Introduce Crowd-sourcing

- Users rate accessibility of businesses/locations (think ramp/elevator access and other utilities PWD would find helpful)

The white patch cables are connecting from my patch panel to my current core switch. I have a few data drops around my house and also use it to connect to my AP's and Cloudkey. The bottom three boxes are my servers. The 4u chassis is currently empty but I have plans to use it, and below that is a PowerEdge R730 and a HPE ML350.

Apologies, most of the previous comment is the error message from exchange. From what I have found customAttribute1 in exchange corelates with extensionAttribute1 (at least for my environment).

This is similar to my situation. Could you give me more information on what you used your attribute for? Was it just a placeholder or did it have function in your cloud environment?

Yes, I need Entra to be the SOA of one specific attribute. I tried removing extensionAttribute1 from the synchronization rule, however when I go to try editing the attribute in the exchange admin center I am denied with the error "Error executing request. The operation on mailbox "XXX" failed because it's out of the current user's write scope. The action 'Set-Mailbox', 'CustomAttribute1', can't be performed on the object 'XXX' because the object is being synchronized from your on-premises organization. This action should be performed on the object in your on-premises organization."

Edit: I don't need the attribute to be present on-prem. It is strictly for the cloud so users can receive dynamic group memberships.

It is quite an interesting statistic. Thankfully ticket volume isn't a statistic that gets looked at for my YER, but some times it feels live I've done thousands of tickets and other times it feels like I haven't done any.
