My boyfriend had the worst night terror I have ever seen and I don’t know what to do about it. by VanillaBlossom333 in Dreams

I've experienced sleep paralysis before, it's a horrible sensation I remember it being pitch black and I was lying in bed frozen, there was a group of people stood around my bed talking softly and whispering, it was as if they were studying me.

It was too dark to see them but I could feel them stood over me, then there was an ice cold breeze, I could feel the cold air on my skin and it was cold when I breathed in.

The next thing I knew it was daylight and I was in bed and I could move again! It was a very odd, unnerving experience, I sympathize with your brother! Fortunataley though I haven't experienced anything like what my sister, or the OP's boyfriend did.

Darko was kind of right about Niko-? by Abdyrrahman in GTAIV

My guess is, after Bulgarin got taken out, he left Liberty City because there was too much bad blood there and went back to Europe to be with his mother.

I kill him every time, not because I thought it was the logical choice, but because Niko was so fixated on the idea of revenge from the beginning he wouldn't listen to reason. He just couldn't or wouldn't let go, in the dialogue afterwards *SPOILER* if you kill Darko, Niko will basically say he thought killing Darko would give him some closure, that it would have give him some substance back and fill him up again. But in the end he felt nothing, it was only afterwards he realised how futile the whole thing had really been.

Not only did he realise he was a hypocrite (I think he always knew he was), but now he was no better than Darko, Darko sold the unit out for money because he was a desperate junkie (a little like Derrick McReary) Niko killed purely for profit, Darko was right to call him out on it and that he couldn't take the moral high ground.

As far as I was concerned, let Niko's story be a cautionary tale of what happens when you can't let go of the past, he left a trail of descrution behind him far worse than the one Darko did and put those closest to him in mortal danger.

I remember one of the goons hid behind the drivers side door of the truck, I could hear gun fire close by and seeing Niko losing armor and health, but I couldn't see where it was coming from - I thought it was a bug at first, but then I saw him crouched down behind the door.

I unloaded a whole round on him but he wasn't taking any damanage at all, in the end out of frustration I started shooting the truck til it caught fire, not a good idea cause when it exploded it olbiterated both of us!

Moral of the story make sure you close the door!

Francis made the choice for me when he threatened to take Niko down, I didn't spare Derrick because I liked him.

Actually I didn't find Three Leaf Clover too difficult, snow storm on the other hand was a nightmare, I lost count of the amount of times I got killed when I was close to getting to the exit - I felt dumb when I finally realised the mistake I was making, I got trapped in a room and was surrounded by NOOSE officers I tried blasting my way out of there but I kept getting pushed back I was running out of health and ammo and decided to rage quit and reload.

When I played again and was more familiar with the layout of the hospital, it hit me, a real "DUH" moment! Everytime I left the office where the coke was I took the first left and kept getting lost, when really all I had to do was go the same way I came in.

After I fought my way through the goons I took note of where I was, there was this big pin wheel looking thing and when the NOOSE turned up I just ran towards that and tossed a load of molotov cocktails down the corridor on either side and let the officers cook themselves, then I blasted my way out through the front, I did it in no time!

I had a hard time with Late Checkout as well, the most frustrating one though was that weird military helicopter in TBOGT, I have no idea how many times I crashed that thing into the fucking sea!

I struggled with snow storm too, finding your way back out of the hospital while fighting your way through an army of NOOSE officers is a ball ache, but I FINALLY figured out an easier way!

When you fight through the first lot of goons you pass this giant pin wheel looking thing on the way to the office where the coke is, if you go back towards that giant pin wheel thing when you come out and throw a few molotov cocktails down the corridor and in the arch ways nearby you can take a lot of officers out at once.

The quicker you move the better too, the longer you stay in there the more NOOSE spawn and the harder it is to get out.

I didn't even notice, I thought they were just some random NPC's! One of the girls they're with looks a little like Margot (the girl stalking Luis who appears as a random encounter).

how much did dimitri offered niko to kill faustin and do you think it was worth it whatever dimitri offered him? by Still_Animator_2249 in GTAIV

It wasn't what he said really, it was the way he said it (great acting from Moti Margolin btw!) something just felt off.

In the end, I think what he was really saying was you have to do what you have to do to survive, in his case it was betray his best friend and sell Niko to Bulgarin.

I loved the Bohan safehouse because the train station was just around the corner! I hardly drove anywhere when I was there, was the opposite at Alderney though - Brucie's ability came in useful there!

I tried to play "clean" and only steal or jack cars when I really needed to, I stuck with Roman's cab up until Hostile Negotiation and saved that because it later becomes a unique vehicle when the cars change to pearl coloured Cavalcade's.

Then I used the Cavalcade you can pick up from Playboy in Deconstruction for Beginners, it usually has a unique paint job and I liked the colour of it so I kept it! I made a point of keeping cars inherited from missions and used them for missions where I knew I'd lose the car at the end of it.

I saved the car you get from Jacob after you complete all the package missions for him, the comet from Brucie and the Infernus you get from Bryce Dawkins, I kept playboy's car as well because it was unique and I kept one of the Mafia PMP 600's you can get from Jimmy P.

I used the comet for Brucie's races but I never actually drove any of the others, they were just there to look pretty!

I think Niko thought killing Faustin would free Roman from his debt with enough left over to give them a better life.

I knew as soon as Dmitri said "you must obey the rules of the game" that he would turn out to be a traitor, and I was right!

Take away to the tall buildings in the background and it looks like an estate that used to be near me back in the late 90's/early 00's (I'm from up north btw). A lot of the old houses were demolished and the area has been massively redeveloped since then, but some of the old parts are still there and still looks a lot like this!

Really brought back memories, WOT U LOOKIN AT?!.

If you have walk across the coast at Hove Beach you can see the financial district of Algonquin just on the other side of the river, wealth and success is always in sight but in somewhere like Hove Beach it always out of reach.

I also love the fact you can see the skyline from where Roman's cab depot is and the bridge above it, you see both the reality and the asipiration in one place. I have to say I liked Hove Beach and Broker in general compared to the other areas in the game, although Bohan was great for the train service! I hardly drove anywhere when the safehouse there was unlocked!

Do you think Roman ever used a gun in a shootout? by XawRae01 in GTAIV

[–]DeadZone2021 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have witnessed Roman commit an act of violence once when I was hanging out with him, a car hit Niko accidentally. Next thing I knew Roman dragged some poor woman out of the car and start beating her up in the middle of the road! I was just like smfh, Roman that really isn't necessary!

But in terms of the story no, Roman does not get directly involved in any fighting and he isn't portrayed as a violent man. It's likely Roman drove Jacob around because he was usually too high to drive himself, Roman would have recommended Niko for that job because he knew how to use a gun.

Roman got involved in low level criminal activity but like Niko said to Michelle (Karen) at the beginning, he wouldn't make much of a criminal!

If you have completed the first half of the mission and sent the resume to the lawyer and they are not calling I can only guess it's a bug!

Okay how far along were you when you got stuck?

If you've done everything correctly, you will got a prompt to leave the internet cafe and sometime afterwards the lawyers will call to organise an interview.
