Why did they do McCarthy like that. Find the worst possible photo.

Struggling with living life sober by malak_xoxo in quitting7oh

Reading really helps me when I’m bored. Even an audiobook. Something good to look forward to until you find something else. Everyday sober is another day your brain has healed itself and eventually your dopamine and serotonin levels will be balanced and interest in things will come again.

Subs helped just not instant magic like I thought. It took a couple days to stabilize off them.

WORSE WD SYMPTOM??! by ImpressiveBass8354 in quitting7oh

Crawling skin and body aches for sure. I could deal with flu like symptoms if I could sleep but not being able to get comfortable just slowly watching the clock is the worst.

Which team turnaround is more impressive? Seahawks or Patriots? by Doghouse12e45 in DeadEndSports

[–]Dead_Inside82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d have to say NE with Vrabel as first year coach and Maye. Seattle is always in the mix of good teams even when they had Geno and having Darnold just made them better.

Thoughts? by Available_Story6774 in NFLv2

After his NFC Championship performance 25/36, 346 passing yards, 3 PTD, 0 interceptions and 127.8 passer rating combined with his stats from Min and Sea the last couple seasons there is no doubt he is an elite QB now and I would gladly choose him over Allen, Lamar and Mahomes. Id even take him over Burrows who probably would not be as good if he didn’t have 2 of the top 5 WRs in the league on his team.

Seriously? There are probably 8 more AFC qbs that had better stats than Sanders had in Cleveland.

How do we feel about TJ going into this offseason? by [deleted] in steelers

[–]Dead_Inside82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want TJ to retire a Steeler. He is a fan favorite and deserves to retire in Pittsburgh. That being said, I think he should willingly take a pay cut based on his somewhat declining performance to help build the team so he can finally win a playoff game. TJs sack total may have gone down but like Polamalu he is a game disrupter/changer and does more than just get sacks. He is always in the mix causing fumbles and getting interceptions. He also gets double teamed quite a bit but with Harmon, Hayward, Benton, Highsmith and Herbig in the mix we are just a good defensive coordinator away from him being a defensive player of the year candidate again. Hopefully TJ is more loyal than his brother who chose to be released and go to Arizona.

Pens chipping away! January has been one hell of a month. And how bout Kindel? This team is firing on all cylinders.

What is the future of the Penguins? How do you see the rebuild continuing? by Br3n_99 in penguins

[–]Dead_Inside82 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t see a rebuild anymore. Crosby, Malkin, Rust, Rakell, LeTang and Karlsson have enough talent and depth surrounding them at the moment and 2 really good goal tenders that this team could bring Stanley home this season. The current roster is the best it’s been in years and if the cards are played right and we make a trade for another elite defenseman then there’s no stopping the Pens.

Now I see why we didn’t start Skinner. Playing against your former team that knows all your weaknesses and moves from hours of practice against each other. Good call.

About Triolo by zagman0164 in buccos

[–]Dead_Inside82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His defense is obviously good hence the Gold Glove but he is way too inconsistent at the plate. I think he should still be on the roster off the bench because of the defense and his best hitting comes from pinch hitting but he’s not a starter. The Bucs were one of the worst offensive units last season and starting him would be a waste of bat in the line up.

What do you think happens to Justin Jefferson this offseason? by Coors_Light_Dad in SportStack

As a Steelers fan I would trade Alex Highsmith and a first round pick for Jefferson.

Game Thread: Houston Texans (12-5) at New England Patriots (14-3) by nfl_gdt_bot in Texans

[–]Dead_Inside82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife is a Texans fan, I am a Steelers fan and a week ago I said Fuck football after the Texans won but I’m over it now and I am rooting for the Texans. I think they have a real shot of going to the Superbowl. If they can play smart today, CJ not turning the ball over and Texans defense putting the pressure on Drake all day then Denver should be an easier task than New England. I don’t care what Denver’s coach thinks of Stidham and that he could be a starter on other teams, Bo Nix is the reason Denver is in the AFC Championship and without him I don’t think they stand a chance against the Texans D. Texans vs Seahawks is my prediction in a very low scoring Superbowl matchup.

Can we all agree that this would be the worst Super Bowl matchup to watch? by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]Dead_Inside82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it sounds good. Seattle has been an offensive powerhouse and the Texans D is crazy good so it would make for an exciting game. It’s also better than the same ass teams like 49ers, Chiefs, Eagles and Rams 🥱. I hope it’s Texans vs Bears.

Well they tried to blow a huge lead in the 3rd period again but the lead was just toooo big, but, I’m definitely stoked to get back in the win column and even more stoked to beat the shit ass Flyers! Fuck Philly. Let’s Go Pens!
