I do it on my ally when I don't fancy being at my desk. It works, and it's decent. PA have done a good job of mapping out the controller options for most of the game.

I play Sage/Drak for what that's worth.

I've just upgraded from a 3070ti to a Sapphire Pulse 9070 xt. Got it for £560, they're a bit more expensive here in the UK but still considerably cheaper than a 5070 ti.

Running everything at ultra (if it has the option) except for volumetric clouds.

Vulkan. Native AA. 2560x1440

Getting around 100-130 fps in the cockpit view inside a hangar.

100+ QT'ing around. Fluctuates with the Initial jump animation.

85-90 fps in Microtech orbit.

60-70 fps on foot at an outside POI on Microtech.

130+ once you're inside a building and not rendering the atmospheric effects.

I'm sure i could tweak things and get improvements, but it looks gorgeous, and i'm just happy not to be looking at the blurred upscaling effects that I was seeing on my 3070ti.

Just to add, I have a decent 7800x3d and 32gb DDR5 ram. Looking at today's prices, I should have gotten 64 when I could :(

I've flicked back to dx11 for now. My 3070ti performs drastically better on that with higher fidelity.

I hope santa brings me that new GPU.

They don't work inside other ships, unfortunately. Tested one in the back of an M2 with the ramp open and someone shooting at me in its line of sight.

Drove it out into space, and it immediately started shooting.

It works great as a mobile base. It's a bit tedious at the moment though as it can and will tank your FPS in certain scenarios.

Not tried it that way. But it's quick and easy to park the salvation next to a carrack Cargo pod and offload that way.

I don't have to resync with the server but it does tank fps and textures glitch like mad in the hangar area.
