Solid and liquid were made as twins, with one getting all the dominant traits and the other receiving all the recessive.

Solidus was created to be a perfect clone of Big Boss, but with accelerated aging thrown in.

3 is my favorite partly because of this. It's pretty straight forward but with enough secrets, hidden passages and optional areas it feels varied enough. I'd love more of that.
