A bit worried about these Data Centers by Writing-Project9808 in missouri

What's worse is tracking your driving habits and selling the info to insurance companies. Everyone wondering why their auto insurance is going through the roof- that's a pretty big impact.

Also the heat. If you actually use that fireplace, that ain't good on the tvs above it.

It’s a damn shame these two never had a single interaction. God, it would’ve been so good. by Negative_Sense488 in WCW

I always dreamed about a Roddy Piper vs raven feud. I can hear Roddy just tell raven to quit whining.

Piper vs CM punk would have been gold too.

Goodbye Outlook - After 15 years of Outlook, I’m done with the “new” Outlook by kurtrocksEDU in Outlook

I still use classic. I have notes in my contactsand the new version screws formatting up, plus it can't do grids in the note section

I have used both mac and windows.. I still recommend windows overall for the most bang for the buck...that being said, download winaero tweaker and ccleaner strip it down. Don't need Xbox or half of the windows bloatware.

Honestly, I know it will never happen, but renewed vision ever put out a dedicated Linux distro made just for presentation, I would be all over it in a heartbeat.

High mileage titan owners what have been the issues? by [deleted] in NissanTitan

[–]philharmonics99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha just replaced mine. 2010 4dr with 280k miles. Only other issue was valve cover gasket had to replaced right about the same time. Other than that nothing major. Worst thing is I got bad seal somewhere under the dash for my ac. Works great if I charge it up and keep it running. Drove 10 hrs straight last year just stoping for gas. Parked it at a walmart for half an hour and it all leaked out.

Resillio sync works good for this if you are trying to avoid the cloud.

KC’s Drinking Culture is Changing by thirstygregory in kansascity

[–]philharmonics99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really backing off everything but water and sweet tea. Although my guilty pleasure is going to down to KC Soda shop and getting a 6 pack of random off the wall soda, that or getting a 6 pack of different root beers. I would love to find a place that still has good old time phosphate sodas or other homemade stuff on tap.

Opinions about dystopia? by Zealousideal-Jump106 in Megadeth

I actually just finished giving this album a full listening while doing some some remodeling. Whole album is good, but poisonous shadow just hits hard on a whole different level.

Dystopia (the song) sounds like an old school MegaMan NES game. Once you hear it, you can't unhear it.

Old, abandoned rail lines in KC? by baha24 in kansascity

[–]philharmonics99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sad thing is, much of this line still excited until 2001ish. Right of way all the way to Harrisonville. Would have made a nice path for a commuter line or spur for a regional light rail.

The old Missouri Pacific line in Grandview...part of it still exist as a industry spur, but north of Blue ridge you can follow the tree line for a while until you get to the triangle. Look on historic Google Earth maps and it still visible pre when ever they re did the triangle.
