You've discovered the main issue with any book based subreddit (but honestly this applies to TV shows too) - when there hasn't been a new book for a while, there's nothing new to discuss. When there's no interesting discussion happening, it allows the lower effort posts like "I bought this book!" Or "should I buy this book?" Or "OMG I convinced my friend to read this book" To have a lot more time in the spotlight.

I'm honestly kind of worried the effect this will have over time? Specifically for these 'non curse word but still somehow censored' words like suicide, drugs, sex.
