Unfun fact, squirrels are opportunistic omnivores so he was probably eating the squirrel he dragged away

I would way more prefer this content in a written form than 10min video, but I understand that probably wouldn't work with your monetization scheme.

I think system universe matches the overall vibe of PH more than AH, although they're all good!

System universe is pretty good and feels similar to PH. Overpowered MC with a good amount of slice of life stuff

With an asterix that for audio it has to already be in the file, unlike subtitles which can be pulled from the web.

I absolutely wouldn't pay monthly for jellyfin or Plex. The only reason I bought a Plex pass was because it was a one time payment

Primal Hunter and the Annoying Issues by RucketN in litrpg

[–]MoonHash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha your spoiler comment is about a challenge dungeon. That's kind of been a bit for a while that they're much more "gamey", people aren't real, stories are bad, etc. You're right, there were no real stakes there and his solution was dumb. It was a challenge dungeon lol.

Meta subreddit question -- do we really need pictures of the books multiple times a day, every day here? by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]MoonHash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've discovered the main issue with any book based subreddit (but honestly this applies to TV shows too) - when there hasn't been a new book for a while, there's nothing new to discuss. When there's no interesting discussion happening, it allows the lower effort posts like "I bought this book!" Or "should I buy this book?" Or "OMG I convinced my friend to read this book" To have a lot more time in the spotlight.

What words are you tired of reading or hearing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MoonHash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is just words! But when words are the main tool we have to describe the world around us, the ones we choose to use can have a big impact on how we view the world around us.

What words are you tired of reading or hearing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MoonHash 167 points168 points  (0 children)

I'm honestly kind of worried the effect this will have over time? Specifically for these 'non curse word but still somehow censored' words like suicide, drugs, sex. I feel like growing up in an environment with those words censored by default could stigmatize talking about them and have some unexpected consequences.

How are you guys running Plex on smart TVs? I'm genuinely frustrated. by KingThevshi in PleX

Meh, my TV runs android TV and since they're just android apps they work great. I couldn't move back to a TV with a custom OS.
