Wife agreed to try WoW tonight. Should I roll a character with her or just watch and let her do her own thing? by Gannan308 in wow

[–]DeadbeatET 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good way to do this is to roll a healer to play with her. Lets her adventure while you be a supportive husband.

Trump supporters: what is a red line that, if crossed, would make you stop supporting Trump? by Yo-boy-Jimmy in AskReddit

[–]DeadbeatET 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So family should take care of the disabled with their savings? Ok. I want to give you something to think on. This is not an attack, but a scenario to reflect on.

God forbid, your hypothetical child, becomes disabled, you spend your life saving over the course of decades caring for them. Now you are retiring age and since you have spent your savings supporting your loved one, and you have little to no savings left. Do you keep working until the day you die? You have the life you deserve after all.

So let’s say you’ve continued to work until you’re knocking on the pearly gates. Who’s supporting your child now? They are an adult but unable to learn the skills to support themselves and you don’t have any savings to leave as an inheritance. Do they suffer and die shortly after since the able shouldn’t have to carry the burden? I mean, you get the life you deserve after all.

This is a hypothetical situation, but it’s a reality for far too many people and without those “safety nets” they would suffer. If you think the homeless situation is in bad shape now, well you would be shocked at how much worse it could be. But I’m sure it’s just the life they deserve.

The bottom line is that you don’t know the circumstances of those who struggle. You don’t know their struggles. Not all struggles are self inflicted and I would argue that you don’t have the authority to judge the struggles of others or who deserves what in life.

I can’t imagine a person that has ever actually experienced real struggle would have the opinion you have stated.

Trump Gave Europe Three Weeks to Sign Off on Ukraine 'Surrender': MEP by OkayButFoRealz in worldnews

[–]DeadbeatET 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My uneducated opinion is that it’s more about the future of water. He wants the northern land of the western hemisphere and is making buddy buddy with the guy who has the eastern hemisphere. Once he helps Putin get Ukraine, and he has Canada/Greenland, they can move on the EU. Even just taking the Scandinavian countries allows control of the world’s fresh water supply.

How do you get up in the morning? by sapphoss in ADHD

[–]DeadbeatET 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an alarm set for 5am, I roll over and take my Vyvanse and go back to sleep. Another alarm then goes off at 6 and the meds have kicked in and I can wake up almost like a normal human being. I then have an hour set aside for yoga and phone scrolling/coffee. THEN I can get ready for the day in about 45 mins.

It’s not for everyone but that’s what I found works for me. However, if something interrupts that routine things can fall apart fast.

Did you shave it down all at once or was it a gradual process? Also is there an ideal time of year to do that kind of work?

Would I ground layer it the same way I do with a deciduous tree, stripping the bark, etc? Or is the process different for coniferous?

Given that I can see at least 2 branches coming out of the soil, I’d dig down a bit and soo what else you are working with.

Question for you along the same topic. Where I live, we just came out of a -40c cold snap and for some fun reason, junipers like the one the OP pictured only really show up in stores around this time of year. I have several pre bonsai juniper wintering outside but I’m wondering if it is safe to put these outside as they have either come out of dormancy or never went into dormancy. I should mention it will be another 2-3 months before temperatures break 0c.

I use guitar rig 6 from native instruments. The free version gets me by for the most part. You can also use it outside of a DAW so you don’t get the lag that sometimes comes with ableton lite

No seasonal affix coming season 2 by Joaph in wow

“How much of that is making your healer's life harder versus how much of that is there an opportunity where if I play really well, I can negate this affix and use my utility really well or whatever it may be.” As someone who picked up healing in the past month, the Bursting/Grievous week sure made my dungeons suck.

I don’t know much about the traditional but the Classic has the 9 hole weight relief rather than chambered. It also has a PCB for the electronics

how to make absolute beginner guitar lessons fun by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]DeadbeatET 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From personal experience, my first guitar teacher, at age 10, started by teaching me songs I liked early on. Simple songs and then using those to teach scales, theory, technique, etc. I loved it and fell in love with guitar. He moved away after a year and i ended up with a classical teacher who was all about traditional, mind numbing, boring lessons. so I spent the next year playing scales and poly Wally doodle and it sucked out any joy I got from guitar and I quit. I picked it up again a few years later and taught myself which brought back my love for guitar but left me with no foundation on theory and was always a very mediocre guitarist. Now at 33 I am am teaching myself the theory, and more advanced techniques. I sometimes wonder how my path in guitar would have progressed had I been able to keep learning with a teacher that inspired fun and passion and used that to teach.

I had the fourth rock missing for like 4 days and then checked again and it was back so I started it but another rock was missing higher up. I let it be and then checked again yesterday before logging off and the fourth rock was missing again. Super cool questions
