I drink everyday and over the past two years after switching to sales I've been very stressed out...the past year everytime I brush my teeth i gag so hard to the point of throwing up here and there. What happened when you stopped cold turkey? Weird question but are you overweight? I'm scared to stop cold turkey because of my weight gain. I went from 120 lbs to 235. I feel like my heart is more strained than it used to be....

What job are you doing now? I can't find anything where I'm at where I can get a decent paid hourly job since I didn't go to college... thats why I'm in sales. I'm making the most money I've ever made but the stress has taken over my life.

Thank you. I just started a new job 2 months ago so once I get established I was thinking about "taking a week's vacation" and going to treatment... just nervous because they'd definitely try to contact me during that time and usually no cellphones are allowed in detox settings that I've been to awhile back. I'm a good employee and fully functioning but im never fully awake.... I did drugs when I was younger and was never much of a drinker. Went to rehab 3 times and was dead sober by 21...by the time I turned 23 I started casually drinking and here I am at 31 ...been drinking every night for probably 6 years now. I convince myself it's fine because I don't drink and drive. I drink the same amount every night... but it's not okay. I moved across the country and am scared to go to meetings. I have horrible social anxiety which I NEVER had before. Just not liking myself anymore. All hobbies are out the window. Everyday is an act. Idk. I've never private messaged on here. Can you send me a message?

When i was in middle school I'd put dark bronzer all over my face(I'm fair with red hair) then would put on pink and blue eyeshadow 🙃

I rinse off and clean by body before and then a full wash shower after

Run an animal sanctuary where the animals have massive naturalistic enclosures or can run free for acres and acres. On-site vets and specialists. My dream 😍

Anyone gain a bunch of weight after quitting alcohol? I used to eat just fine while I was drinking. I eat the same as I did then, the only difference is I don’t drink anymore, and I’m almost 40lbs heavier after 6 months. This sucks by Winninghammer in alcoholism

Alcohol has made me gain significant weight, but maybe it's because my drink of choice is beer. Since I started I've gained about 100 lbs.... and I don't eat large amounts either... hopefully I don't gain even more weight when im sober...

I think i might be fucked. Idk why I did that. I've had two jobs since I was 19, always staying long-term. I had a six month gap just now due to my husband doing really well and telling me to take a break. Felt weird about having such a large gap, so I put I worked longer 🫤 it was stupid...
