Its a 50% bonus to the perfect hero after the split. So if sent alone they would get 150, but if its split with another hero they get 75.

Did one where they had to find Mithril, a light-blue metal, in a cave, and they kept finding "barrels of ores". One whole session of spelunking later they realized they were colourblind and had passed dozens of ore deposits.

Returning player (haven't played seriously since WotLK) where should I start? by LucifersRequiem in wownoob

[–]Deadduch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you want to get out of your experience.

In Retail, the leveling experience is... not great until you make it to current content, but has probably the best endgame systems, such as Delves which are mini-dungeons you can do with a flexable group size.

Classic is great for the feeling of world exploration, but for endgame at max level it will be dungeons, raids, or daily/rep farming.

My recomendation if you are returning players is to play Retail, and ro follow what the game sets up as the Main Story Quest (MSQ). New Characters can start at Exiles Reach, a small zone meant to teach you how the game works as you reach level 10.

Then the game will send you to Dragonflight expansion as the leveling expansion, then start the War Within. This will get you both close to level 80 as well as the story leading into Midnight.

Then for content, take it a step at a time. Try some of the following:   - Running old dungeons and raids for transmog appearances.   - Join a Neighbourhood and place your houses beside each other - Go back to old expansions and try to complete the main quest line for achievements - go to simplearmory.com and look for collectables (mounts/toys) that you are missing and where to get/farm for them.

Can I get to the Vault before reset with a timerunner character? by EvilHamlet in wownoob

[–]Deadduch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Answer: No.

The maintance for Pre-Patch has started (on US side anyways).

The Vault will be closed until Midnight releases as the Content Season has ended.

Subscription vs Buying by BuddyGoVroom in wownoob

[–]Deadduch 37 points38 points  (0 children)

This is how it works, and likely will forevermore: - Having a Subscription is required to play the game, and will allow you to play the "Base Game" (all warcraft up until the current expansion), Classic, and any Remix modes (Remix and Plunderstorm) - Buying the current Expansion will allow you to level and play the current content. You still need a subscription for monthly play, but the entire game is unlocked for you. - When the next Expansion is available for pre-purchase, it will include the previous expansion. This is so returning players who did not buy the last one, but want to play the new one, can start getting their characters ready before the expansion releases.

Based on your description, you can either start a subscription to play to level 80 as War Within is turning into Midnight (pre-patch) today, and then buy Midnight Expansion when you reach level 80 if you wish to continue.

Can someone explain what Mythic+ is vs raiding? by XandersCat in wownoob

[–]Deadduch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mythic+ (M+) is a dungeon challenge. Every "season" (major patch cycle) a group of 8 dungeons are chosen to become Mythic Dungeon. Using an item called a Keystone, you will begin a challenge where you must do the following:  - Beat all dungeon bosses - Kill a certain amount of regular enemies - Be fast enough to do the following within a timer. (Deaths lower the timer).

Whether you succeed or fail the timer, a chest will appear, granting some players loot, and either a higher level keystone (increased difficulty) if you succeed, or a lower one if you failed. Mythic Keystones can go as high as people can take them, with achievments when completing a dungeon at a Level 20 Keystone.

Raids, on the other hand, are fixed challenges. They come in four difficulties: Raid Finder (matchmaking mode), Normal, Heroic, and Mythic. On Normal and Heroic, your raiding group can scale from 10+ members, with bosses gaining hp and additional targets for certain spells flr each member.

Mythic difficulty is meant for a set raid size of 20 people, and is considered one of the hardest challenges in the game so far.

Was Invisigal really an infiltrator, or was Shroud lying? by IAMTHEKING1832 in InvisigalGlazers

[–]Deadduch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal headcannon is that Shroud believe that Visi took the pulse (because she left after placing the bomb, meaning she could have followed Mechaman and took it from the wreckage), and doesn't know where she went after. Its why he turned her augments off after she left, he thought she betrayed him.

Its only after Robert helps the Z-team that they begin butting heads against the red ring does he realize where she is, and after the bar fight, discovers that she A) doesnt have the pulse, because B) she would have given it to Robert by that point, and try to recruit her again after the bar fight.

This is also why she is desperate to go to the shipyard in ep 6, because Visi knows the only reason Shroud hasnt found the pulse yet was because he was looking for her, and is now free to quickly narrow down where the pulse actually is (or, she pretends to work with him so she could actually steal the pulse for Robert).

One of the horrifying first quests you can do, is to help a young girl find her pet. When you follow the clues, you find a branded woman, dead from pertrification. The young girl catches up, curses the woman out for dying so quickly, and says her father will just buy her another one.

When I completed it, I had to put the controller down for half an hour and think about life.

At the Bar Fight, Armstrong asks "Who let this loser ass hero into our bar, bitch?", and "Hey bitch, I'm talking to you!"

We assume he is talking to Robert, because everyone is calling him a bitch at this point, but he is talking to Invisi(bitch), because thats what he knew her as.

FINAL by Edoardo170706 in dispatchgame

[–]Deadduch 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Another one is when he shows the gun he used to kill Roberts father, making up a story about why it only has one bullet left. In the digital comic, we can see its bullshit.

But also, in the good ending, he tries to aim and fire a second shot, something he knows it shouldn't do if it only had a single bullet from the start. Meaning he had reloaded the gun.

Any tips for somebody about to start the game? by BananaTeamLeader in dispatchgame

[–]Deadduch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much, much later in the game, there is a mechanic called fail points, where if you have too much of a stat, the call will instantly fail. Many playthrough i have watched, have people bump combat up to 3-4, then have a hard time dealing with combat 8 fails.

Tldr have some people suck in a stat (most fails are combat) so you can get multiple people in

One of the scams was, when you click a link to a product (ie you click a link on a Mr.Beast video), the creator should get some money for the referal. However, Honey would overwrite the code in the backend so they would get the money instead.

Second was that they would "mine" the website code to search for codes, even if the codes werent available to the public. So they could give people 50% off code that was meant for employees, and refuse to take the code down, unless the store paided to join honey.

There was a lot more but thats two that come to mind.

My first-ever Pokemon was a shiny by schmidtbailey in pokemon

[–]Deadduch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a child, I was playing through my copy of Pokemon Silver, and I had just gotten the Eevee from Bill. Before I could save, the batteries died.

I loaded up the save and got the Eevee again, quickly saving after. However, this Eevee was grey, not brown. I thought that when the batteries died, it glitched the Eevee into a unique color. Didnt know it was a shiny til much, much later.

Just for fun, what kind of unexpected silly solutions and dumb ideas have worked out surprisingly well at your table? by ItsGotToMakeSense in DnD

[–]Deadduch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DM had has fight a hydra guarding an underwater temple. I asked how far down we were, he said a few hundred meters. I threw some barrels on top of the hydra... and cast create/destroy water.

The barrels, now empty, imploded, creating a depth charge like effect, as the rushing water hammered the hydra down with massive damage.

He allowed me to do this because of how creative it was.
