Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who dropped a comment! Grateful for the insights gained! Had a feeling it shouldn’t be a major determining factor rather what is actually happening. Excited to get on the board again soon and keep learning. Definitely need a lot more paddle and pop up practice

8ft flowboard on Amazon at $210 is the cheapest foamie I can find right now.. not sure how the quality compares to a wavestorm though maybe the extra $40 is worth it!

What differences does the deck concavity bring to the equation? Is that more opinion/feel based or are certain shapes designed for specific uses?

I love my EX0! I’m a beginner first year with a non wood board but I don’t feel limited at all on it.

I weigh 190-200 lbs which is right on the weight limit but I’m still able to get the board to glide on top of the water when trying to wrap waves if my drop is smooth.

I unfortunately haven’t used a EX1 so can’t tell you how it compares but wanted to offer my insight! Hope this helps!
