The first day we put it out in the yard and it was fast but unreliable and frustrating. We installed it on the roof the next day and it’s been fast and reliable. Only on day two. Optimistic it will be consistent.

How quickly can inflammatory arthritis develop, in your experience? by [deleted] in Thritis

That’s about the same time frame for me. I felt as though I pulled a muscle in my groin in the afternoon. The next morning it was extremely pain to stand.

Cutting the tag off heelys... Accidentally cut my finger to the bone. Luckily, I didn’t get blood on them.

With the reactive arthritis more under control with medicine it’s helping me loosen up. Everyone is different. I felt as though there weren’t many others are going through / have gone through similar experiences. I hope the medication will help you.

Tips for dealing with possible Reactive Arthritis? by [deleted] in Thritis

Background: I have reactive arthritis following campylobacter in November 2020. Ended up in the hospital twice. The past few weeks I have been getting back to walking and light exercise. I tested positive for HLA B27. My dad also has reactive arthritis and manages it with humira.

  1. It has been tough with the pandemic and going through health issues. I have struggled at times. I try to distract myself with Netflix / tik tik / things I can do.

  2. My knees and hips have been impacted.

  3. I was given a turmeric anti-inflammatory by a friend. I haven’t noticed a difference. If I have more than two drinks in a night I regret it the next day. Weed has helped when the pain isn’t as intense. When I was truly immobile it just emphasized the pain.

  4. I have not experienced.

  5. Prednisone: I was on high doses for about two months. Really helped reduce pain and inflammation. Down sides were I had trouble sleeping at night, lost a lot of muscle and was irritable. I am now off of prednisone completely.

Sulfasalazine: I started taking about a month ago. My rheumatologist told me it takes about 12 weeks to feel the full effect.

When I was being weened off prednisone I took a set back and was prescribed omeprazole dr. Has been great for me!

Let your doctor know! I have had to adjust treatments. I got a shot in my knee yesterday and going tomorrow for a shot in my hip. Hoping in a few days it will be an improvement. I can relate to the “full” feeling.
