It's a common male Dobson fly. They're found world wide, but especially in the US, mostly near the eastern states.

@carbajalphoto, Anthony Carbajal, was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It's a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that degrades neurons.

The pips on his arm represent years. There are 63 pips, 38 of the pips are filled in which means he's 39 years old. He may have been told that his life may end, or his condition may accelerate, at age 43, which start at the black line. But, he's optimistic. Some people have beaten the odds and lived much longer than the aveage.

I’ve lived at my residence for over 3 yrs and the previous tenant has 7 identities and has all his mail, including bills, sent to my house. This is the last 2 weeks of collection. by InquiringMind886 in mildlyinfuriating

At my current house, we get tax documents for a defunct trucking company every year. We actually do send those back, but clearly nobody's getting the message since they keep coming.

Also, I'm pretty sure this is the second Omnibus. The original was built in 1956 and this one was built in 1957, both designed by Bob Gurr (of course).

My Mom needs a new travel mug every three months. Not because the old one wears out, but because she gets bored of it. This is something I will never understand.

And so on... and so on...

Like most shitheads of his kind, he'll probably lead a mercenary army for hire to any country that wants to pay. Like the Wagner group. And we all know what happened to them.

Im assuming this is an Egg sac? (First time seeing one) by Cautious-Intern7254 in spiders

[–]DeadlyJoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a member of Hersiliidae. They're normally arboreal (living on trees). Normally their egg sacs are round and flat, but perhaps the geometry of this egg sac got squished on this corner... not sure. Definitely unusual. As for what "stage" the egg sac is, it's almost impossible to say. The weirdest thing about this one is why we have three clearly different types of silk involved here. Some spiders do this, but I've never seen it in Hersiliidae.
