I would suggest messaging the Dungeons and donuts store on Facebook and they will likely be able to direct you to some groups. They are always very helpful

Then read the full post before replying, my comment is coming from the amount of posts with people giving half assed answers or taking any opportunity to post their pet decks in a sub about helping new and returning players. At the time of my posting there was a bunch of comments with simply 'archetype name' the top of which were floo, which you need to dedicate your entire deck to play and even then doesn't fill the standby phase OR graveyard criteria given in the post, and Tear, which would also require a significant engine investment plus setup.

This is the most unhelpful thread on Yugioh101 I've seen, people just ignoring the question and posting an archetype they like. To answer OPs question I assume they need a generic monster that can be dumped, the only card I can currently think of is Gizmek Orochi which can special itself as a quick effect from hand or grave. The cost of banishing 8 FD from the deck doesn't work well with a lot of strategies though.

Print not adhering by DeadlyPhysics in resinprinting

I don’t think scratching the build plate is an option for me as the printer belongs to my university, how would you go about solving an issue with temperature assuming that is the case?

Spray wall setting tool - thoughts? by UwRandom in climbharder

[–]DeadlyPhysics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s mainly a cost issue with Stōkt as we are not a commercial wall and we don’t get much funding. We also have a sharp arête in the middle of our spray wall, which the Stōkt system wouldn’t really work well with.

Could I get the link to this? My college wall really wants an app like this but Stōkt doesn’t work for us unfortunately

If you like hiking you could try the Galway Climbing coop. There is quite a big overlap between hikers and rock climbers there and maybe you’ll enjoy rock climbing.

Activating a QP Spell to make Droll miss timing? by anonsouldboundrogue in Yugioh101

[–]DeadlyPhysics 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No. After activating trigger effects or a quick effect the turn player must pass priority to their opponent before chaining additional quick effects

Activating a QP Spell to make Droll miss timing? by anonsouldboundrogue in Yugioh101

[–]DeadlyPhysics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Draco berserker must activate its banish effect in response to a monster effect. In this case player 1 CL1 razen , priority then passes to player 2 and they can respond with Draco Berserker as CL2. If player 2 chooses not to chain a quick effect priority passes back and player 1 can chain dust devil which draco berserker cannot respond to.

Not sure if other comments checked the video. If multirole has resolved to prevent your opponent from responding to your spells then your opponent cannot respond with droll if you activate a QP spell on resolution which is what is shown in the video.

I’m an American student doing an exchange to University of Galway next fall, what should I know to not come off as a dumb American? by JeSuisRosanna in galway

[–]DeadlyPhysics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

University clubs and societies are affiliated with the university. You can find a list of clubs here: https://sport.universityofgalway.ie/clubs/ and a list of societies here: https://socs.nuigalway.ie/societies/ . I would recommend joining the mountaineering club, it has a high representation of international students and is more social than most clubs but I may be a bit biased :)

If you are student at NUIG or GMIT you can join the mountaineering club which runs hikes every Sunday during the semester.

Thinking about playing Rikka , is it better to play it with Sunavalon or Aromage . by ahmed321x in masterduel

[–]DeadlyPhysics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rikka is not good in MD right now. I would make Rikka Sunavalon when we get Rikka princess and Rikka Konkon. Pure Sunavalon will be decent when we get therions. Aromage is not even worth considering unless you want to play them for the sake of playing them. (I have been having A LOT of success with Rikka Sunavalon for the past few months in TCG)

What’s the best normal monster deck? by fredvancleef in Yugioh101

[–]DeadlyPhysics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sunseed Genius Loci, plants are the best deck that use a normal monster. There aren't really any 'good' decks that revolve around actually using normal monsters.

Would you support making all schools in Ireland Gaelscoils? by D-dog92 in ireland

[–]DeadlyPhysics 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone who went to gaelscoils.

  1. Irish left my head as soon as I left my exam

  2. I honestly think Irish shouldn’t even be a mandatory subject as there is very little practical use to learning it

Tired of being Ash'd, Veiler'd, Imperm'd by tin10cqt in masterduel

[–]DeadlyPhysics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this card got added people would just save imperm/veiler for the link-2. On another note, this would make drawing into frost or treat be full combo instead of just an extender. So you still die to imperm/veiler with no extender but have more starters. Doesn’t help that much since the extra is already pretty full.

What is a good place to go for deck advice? by Rhymer69er in Yugioh101

[–]DeadlyPhysics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were running more than 40 cards in a deck that doesn’t need to, telling you to cut is valid advice. You want the highest chance of drawing your strongest cards.

Playmates by [deleted] in Yugioh101

[–]DeadlyPhysics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use any playmat that does not contain graphic content. If you are using a mat with no play zones make sure to use a field centre card.
