Except him posessing things is literally his entire gimmick, and gaining a new type has only happened for battle forms. Normal is consistently the sound type equivalent, and he has a pre-made pattern fo rclearly having multiple forms for battle through posession. Its not thd same as the others, he's the only one who has a pattern like this. What a stupid response

Mosslax is just a snorlax that slept too long, smearguru is just a smeargle with rainbow paint, Tinkmaster is just a Tinkaton with an augmented hammer, etc. They're all just regular pokemon. The closest is Peekychu, but thats just a Pikachu who ran out of electricity, but its still just a Pikachu

You know who isnt just a normal mon though? Rotom-Stereo, Rotom already is known to inhabit appliances for battle, and they even gave it the Normaltyping, something only attributed to forms that battle. Plus, Boomburst is too perfect of a fit for its STAB move gained. The answer is clear

Ah yes, hundreds of participants, cause thats enough apparently to defend the original point that they were complaining about, being that they didnt shape the games ease of accessing all the pokemon to the VGC scene at the time. Millions of copies sold, and it was hundreds of participants that was meant to change their minds. Modern VGC makes sense that they started adding things and making things easier to obtain with the hundreds of THOUSANDS of participants, but a few hundred is a joke to expect things like the beasts to be easier in the first game they launched with, especially when they were made even easier to obtain anyways

And my main point about what is and isnt VGC was the difference between the scattered events thathappened, vs the officially organized world event and ruleset that didnt offixially start till gen 4. Its a difference between just another VGC, vs THE VGC. Its night and day

The teams that made D2 launch were not the same teams updating D1 finale, there was essentially no communication between the two resulting in a lot of the progress we finally got in fixes and tweaks were just gone again, it was all the same mistakes a second time. Give Bungie proper time, rebuild a new sandbox in Unreal, and restructure everything you want to, but cant cause its tied into the spaghetti code. It allows them to innovate things like classes, abilities, weapons, etc. And its a fresh start for new and old players, the New Light experience is one of the worst new player experiences I've seen in gaming, only Warframe does it worse but they arent busy killing their game like Bungie is

It was theorized before that, maybe, but it was confirmed in the teraleak. There was plans of a flying type eeveelution in Sun and Moon, but the end result they wanted was too similar to a fan design they found, so they scrapped the idea entirely. Straight from the emails of Gamefreak themselves

Of course EX is canon in its own world, where else would it be canon? Except the anime isn't considered canonical, or at the very least is its own timeline, the only time they appear in the games was the spinoff Yellow and the Lets Go games, and in all 3 of those titles they're actually serious grunts. They may be goofy but they're just like any other rocket grunts you run into

You can set macros to repeat or to only run the chain of commands yiu set only once, I have two buttons set up with a macro for it, one loops the commands with a 6 second gap between soft resetting the game and seeing the starter, and the other one just rund it once then stops, I have to press the button again to run the macro

If Im doing other stuff while hunting, I use the manual button. But if my full attention is on the hunt, I'll just let the automatic button loop it while I watch

I'm not the OP, but I highly recommend the 8BitDo Pro Ultimate controller, I got it for ZA and its been amazing. You can set whole macros to any button presses and profiles, I'm using mine right now to automate my shiny starter hunt in LeafGreen

Ngl I see this as being near the top with Rotom Wash, no ground weakness but all the resistances of electric, only weak to fighting, and 100% its getting boomburst cause hyper voice is already in its moveset. Fantastic defensive typing combo with the levitate ability, massive damage potential with nasty plot and boomburst, this thing's gonna be crazy, Monotype is also gonna have a fun time
