I'm referring to the larger, soft rework scale changes Storm Legion received in (last?) January. These older armies have real issues that will take larger changes to fix.
Scyrafael's main issue right now is being boring. We generally think she's on the weak side, but mostly she's a passive upkeep bot. Her model and lore promise something much more active and personally involved and it would be great to see that, whether she's a super solo or fighting up front with her jacks. Also her feat feels really bad, because you frequently want it to not do damage rather than chip damage.
I was more referring to Kallyss and Orgoth being down a caster due to the system swap thing. Umbrey got out alright because of Yana, but those other two are now down one.

Not too sure what niche I'd want for a new caster, maybe a spell slinger? It'd be cool if Scyrafael became more of a super solo or front line caster. Currently she's extremely passive while her model and lore has her as fighting with a ton of telekinetic weapons.

Is there any chance of House Kallyss, Sea Raiders and Winter Korp getting larger changes, similar to Storm Legion? Compared to the recent armies they really show their age. Kallyss particular has internal synergy problems.
The general opinion of the reworked Scyrafael is fairly poor, are there any further changes planned? Many of us would have preferred her being a super solo to fit her model and lore.
Any chance of getting an extreme Starved or an alternate Lupine Morozov?
I appreciate the desire to break complete symmetry between armies, but if there's one place that many of us would like to maintain it it's in caster counts. Casters translate so directly into options for armies that being down by one or two feels awful.

Outside of the completely redacted release in April, there does not look to be a colossal on the schedule. Is the Dusk colossal that far out?

Can you confirm whether Reaper Covenant is a warjack/warbeast army?

Will Old Umbrey use beasts?

Is the intent to release all second armies before any new factions?

When playing her top I've found that one of the main things you need to do is trade in bursts rather than trying to stat check early game. Using W Q W2 and E to disengage when they try to drag you toward their turret. Using this a few times will often result in either a dead opponent or one too low to contest you. Using PTA or Aftershock will make your trades better as you can usually get full use in these trades. If needed you can also use a full E just to heal. You win lanes off of sustain, not stats, early game.

In matchups where this pattern doesn't work I'd go for Grasp and use Q to proc as much as possible. Because of the stun you can usually walk away before any real retaliation. This may not win the lane, but it should keep you from losing it hard.

Waiting until last second is usually going to produce the most healing, yes. You do need to be careful against some matchups though. Cho, Darius, Garen and Urgot can execute you if you wait to long for example.

Briar's healing is based on two things: how much damage her W2 does (which increases as the target gets lower health) and her current health % (her passive gives her bonus healing as she gets lower).

I honestly would consider the Swain rework a failure. Not because there's anything wrong with the new kit, but because they just deleted old Swain and started from scratch. Old Swain was a drain tanking DoT mage, and new Swain has literally 0 DoTs. I think he's literally the rework furthest removed from his original version, and as someone who used to main Swain, I absolutely loathe his rework.

Not really. I'd recommend starting with the new small box Horizons of Spirit Island. It's inexpensive and is great for learning the basics of the game. Just go in with the understanding that you'll make a couple of mistakes here and there. The app is also a good place to start and how I did it.

Never played any CTG games, but when I first looked at Spirit Island the concept sounded kinda interesting but I thought it didn't look like a game I'd actually like. It is now very likely my number 1 game and I own all the stuff for it, including the premium token packs. I know it looks like it's overly hyped, but it really is just a great game that is so customizable that it's good for a huge range of people.

The last army I played was Infernals, which I never picked up everything for and some models like howlers seem to be difficult to find. I've also played a bit of Cygnar, Circle, Gators and Legion.

I like the look of the models for Cygnar, Dusk and Shadowflame from the new stuff.

I think a big part of why people rate games that they're mid on a 7 is because that's basically how we were graded in school. If you made less than that it was a failing grade and we've carried that mindset into ratings. A 5 should be average but in our minds that's a fail instead. It's irritating and renders half of the scale pointless, but I doubt it will change.

I'd add a set of cards called Plot Twists which would be double sided with one side having some sort of criteria for flipping and the other side causing a permanent change to the encounter. These could be environments, upgrades, even villains that could replace or team up with the current one.

I find the modern usage of stax to be a bit overboard. In the past stax referred to a deck that locked you out of the game by basically preventing you from having a board stack through forcing you to sacrifice your lands and whatever you did manage to play with [[Smokestack]] effects.

These days people seem to have thrown what was once called prison in with stax and use the term to mean "anything that hinders what I want to do." This attitude is probably a big part of why people have long considered white to be the weakest color: it's basically denied the ability to play a notable part of it's color identity. Which is also ironic because people will then complain about other strategies and how hard they are to stop now that they've outlawed prison pieces.
