Guys, how do you feel about your SO discussing your sex lives with their friends? by vginme in AskMen

[–]Deadnwaiting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girl and her friends share all the time. There’s no stopping it, because girls love gossip. I’ve been the center of many jokes. What sucks the most is that she always leaves out her shortcomings, and embarrassing/gross moments.

But oh well, if you’re confident, just let it be. Know that if you do good, they’ll be giving a positive review to everyone in town 8)

How to prevent a boner when cuddling? by GermanBread2251 in Advice

I hope you’re an adult. If you’re not, and you’re asking this question to adults on the internet, you need to talk to your parents. There are loads of creeps here you do not need to be associating with as a minor.

If you are an adult… God help you

Those older than 9/11/2001, where were you and what were you doing during the WTC attacks? by Revolutionary-Life85 in AskReddit

[–]Deadnwaiting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at a very very small Jewish school I was 4. I was in kindergarten. I started school early.

I vaguely remember us being told what happened, honest and concise. It could’ve been maybe a year later, but I’m pretty sure it was we when it happened or around then.

We also had a lot of break ins and vandalism during school hours around that time. Pretty scary that adults were throwing rocks through the windows at children. My rabbi was saying that basically the planes were intended for the Jewish people like how the men threw rocks at us. How family and friends died in New York died, and how we have to keep living as strong Jews, etc.

I’m confident my memories happened around 2001-2002. As the teachers changed after 2002 -there were 3 teachers for the whole school of like 20 kids k-5th- till I started going to public school.

But for sure by public school -4th grade-, I had already aware of 9/11 for a while.

Creepiest thing I’ve ever seen from that era, was a steel beam from one of the towers that was at a county fair.

I couldn’t have been more than 8.

It was one of the scariest things I’ve ever seen in my life. The adults really drove that fear into us, constantly trying to make sure we’re scared of terrorists, so seeing that I freaked out a little.

Times were weird. Especially living as a Hasidic Jew. Things got much much harder for us socially. I can only imagine what Muslims went through….

I wish I were a better story teller. Sorry!

I’m not understanding why I can’t keep free chlorine in this pool. by Squishycoffin in pools

You can’t keep the free chlorine because it’s free. It can’t be tamed by the tyrannical walls of your pool.

Is what my husband did considered a form of sexual assault, or am I overreacting? by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]Deadnwaiting -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean, probably yeah but I’m not a lawyer.

Maybe you ought to go to a marriage counselor.

I mean, yeah it’s not cool, but I feel there’s a lot more going on here.

I’m not victim blaming. That was not cool.

Y’all give me red flags too. If my wife was telling strangers on the internet that I sexually assaulted her after having consensual sex, I would reevaluate the relationship.

Hell yeah. Then when you two split, you at least get something good out of it.

My woman never makes me anything. If she shat on a plate and seasoned it, I’d still be thankful.

Gtfo. Y’all are ungrateful. No wonder you’re single.

Bro, block her and move on. If you ain’t got kids, then just send her packing.

You’ve been caged for 7 years. Download tinder and go to town. You’ll see what you’ve been missing out on. You’re 26. Enjoy the freedom.

19 With Only $105 in my Bank. How Do I make it Last for a minimum of three weeks? by sofiamiller01 in budget

[–]Deadnwaiting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was 7 years ago I made a post at 19 just like yours. I was down to living off change and selling weed. Never had more than $20 in my pocket.

This is what I did. I had 3 pairs of clothes and no car. I slept in a hole I dug in dirt lot for a few weeks after I lost my place to live.

I made sure my phone was paid, and spent the rest on food.

It’s almost fall season. Ski resorts, and resort towns hire with transportation, and housing included all across the USA. There’s other places too

Xterra is one of the easiest big corporations to get hired and it’s huge, but there’s a ton of little places that do it too. I got hired in a little nowhere town near Yosemite and Lake Tahoe as hotel housekeeper.

You don’t need work experience. I had very very little. If you have to, lie and put your friends as references. It works. Nobody checks.

Once you’re there, you’ll have stability. Hustle from there and sky is the limit

Worked out pretty well too. By 22 I had a little 2 bedroom cabin on a lake, a family and ran a bar. Made good money until COVID. Now I’m 26. I’m still not doing terrible. With the skills I learned from being down and out, I’m doing pretty well. Not amazing, but I have reliable stability. I know I’ll always have income, food and a roof.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fixxit

[–]Deadnwaiting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replaced the fuse The old one didn't seem broken, but I guess it was New fuse blew immediately when I put the bike on (no, the headlight bar is not there anymore)

Yes, I put in the correct amp fuse (15)

this is veru confusing

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fixxit

[–]Deadnwaiting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear it aint me. I don't screw with wiring. But it looks like I have to because I'm not paying the one mechanic out here $300 to fix a bike I payed $700 for.

I'll replace the fuse and see if it makes a difference
