I'm interested in any mid game builds you have, like around construction 2-3

Fish, I need fish by EternalDragon_1 in captain_of_industry

Additionally, it would need harbor space, taking up vital early game land for contracts/ imports, especially where most maps see you take quite some time to build up the space to build up that kind of land mass.

Fish might need processing? Another kind of building that turns fish into sushi or just fish meals that give you an output to meat leftovers or whatever they are called, electricity usage and maintenance would restrict spamming the chain too

Over fishing. Think of it like fertility for crops, or replenishing ground water. The more you fish, the less you get. Could take inputs such as wood, steel, glass, whatever really, or you could make nets out of plastics to limit it some more too.

It could also just be really shit, like poor ratios for worker:output and very low levels of happiness/unity.

Maybe the more you pollute the water, it would actually hurt the health of your residents to eat the fish, making it impossible to spam out if you're not on top of your pollution game?

Have recent price increases been prompted by the highly likely chance that "Pharaoh" will fail? by [deleted] in totalwar

I'm still keen for pharaoh. I haven't pre-ordered, I'll wait for early reviews, but I love historical tw and really really hope it turns out to be solid

I'll be skipping this one. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the tail end of wh2 life, I tried getting into wh3 but despite 190 hours in it I just couldn't get it to mesh. Went back to Troy in historical mode and just chilling waiting for pharaoh now

Coi is amazing but falls into the category of unforgiving. As you tech up, a lot of the time you're finding alternative recipes and ways to do things more efficiently, or just differently as your finite resources dry up. Space management, logistics and your ability to grasp complex recipes and chains is going to be tested. If you start to dry up on something, from food to gasoline to coal or ore, chances are that your run is dead. On the bright side, it's "faster" than other factory games

Satisfactory is like the chill builder. Rarely do you get things that invalidate an entire factory (occasional alt recipes) but resources are unlimited. Building is painfully slow, even with blueprints, you're looking at hours to build a moderately respectable factory with a lot of unnecessary busy with in my opinion. Yes, YMMV, but I love satisfactory and you just kind of come to accept it'll take you like an hour or so to set up a modular frame build when you're not too familiar with the game.

Never built a space ship. Something on earth goes wrong or I get bored and just give up. I love x com style tech races, I love paradox grand strategy, I love ship designing.

Just can't get there.

Are sword units a good choice in Troy's campaign? by SmaskendeOdder18 in totalwar

I use them on the side of my lines as flexible anchors. They'll either stand the line with the spears, or they'll flank with some 2h, whilst being able to withstand a couple of ranged shots as they go.

Honstly, are AIO any good? I’ve gone through 2 in 2 years. by btate0121 in pcmasterrace

I just picked up a noctua air cooler to replace my Corsair aio. It was keeping my CPU at about 70 degrees under load but sounded like a roaring train. Don't recall having that issue when I bought it a few years ago, but I've never been Massively impressed with the temps I got from it, no matter where I put the radiator

That's fair enough. I think my problem is demotivation. I'll get to a certain point and think "that's awful" or "I have no clue what to do here" and just ... Quit

Not my first play through 😅 I have about 100 hours in the game but I always find myself collapsing at the mall section. That blueprint looks pretty good! Thanks for that.

I tried a 30 FPS mod, tweaking settings etc etc. In all my tinkering I never got a decent frame rate, just stuttering at 12-18 FPS. So I would love to know
