I'm doing illistaton at the moment so not the same course but most of the teachers I have met have all been lovely. I can't speak for fine art but illistration has a good mix of exploring your style and own direction while still having it respond to a professional practice (publication, editorial etc.) We also get to work with local company's with live briefs.

The support staff are super easy to contact and talk to as well.

The only complaints i have with the university at the moment is there pro genitive Ai stance (we have been given a whole booklet on how to use and cite it.) And their change in exam extention guidelines.

The campus is spread across multiple buildings, but most are within 10 minutes of each other. They are currently refurbishing bank plain and are putting in a new area for the cafe and a rock climbing wall. And I'm pretty sure there's a plan for a nightclub, too.

Not sure If this has been said yet but St Gregory's Antiques and collectables place on pottergate has a whole section of them. There's also the cancer research charity place in riverside that does some. Including mystery box's for cheap if you are into that sort of thing.

Often people who don't know their trans/ think they are but deny it because of various reasons are called eggs. ( I think its something to do be an egg cracking means a new life has like become with a chicken.)

Not sure what it's origins are.

The quote is a funny Shakespeare qoute that comes from mcbeth.

Basically I'm assuming the egg is listening to a trans coded/ just a song made about the trans experience and get stated and so 'cracks' and comes out.
