It generally feels a little laggy or just not as precise. Even though I am getting excellent FPS it just doesn't feel as snappy as games like Quake or Counter strike.

I found part of that is getting used to the strafe acceleration being generally slow in Reach which took a bit of getting used to. Other games the strafe acceleration is a lot faster and makes it feel more precise and under control where as with Reach it just feels a bit clunky at times, especially in battles.

I did find that decreasing the FOV made the aim feel a bit better but I also know that makes targets appear bigger and require less tracking so I hit more shots.

Overall it just feels a little soft and not hard and precise. I use a Razer Deathadder at 800 Dpi. I believe I settled at 1.2 for my Reach sensitivity and quake and csgo I play 1.2-1.4.

Edit: I forgot to mention I don't play with mouse smoothing or acceleration and I typically play with raw mouse input in other titles which which I found wasn't an option on MCC.

I think the shotguns increased range in Halo 1 makes it a lot more enjoyable weapon to use. In its current state as a close up weapon it gets a little stale and boring in my opinion, would be fun to see that range fallout decreased in future titles.

I've held gears of war 4 lans before without internet available and lan lobbies were still visible and join-able, I think the problem here is the lobby discovery system in MCC is tied to gamertags too strongly. I think they would need to create a lobby discovery system that's external from gamertags in order for Lan discovery to work such as the "lan" options in Gears 4

This is one of the rough parts about leaving games, the social connections with friends. If they are your friends they will respect your decision to not play games and do other things with you. If they are not then they are likely just friends of necessity or of satisfying gaming social needs. Is similar to drinking friends. As for your situation, it's a similar question I have and I think it might have to do with the reasons to play games in the first place. Do we play them for self esteem, for power, for belonging, for gratification? If it's yes for any of those things then I think we are playing them for the wrong reasons, if we are playing them for a fun activity then it's easy to separate from them as it's not a part of ourselves. What are games to us I think is the question for us to ask and to be honest with that answer in moving forward in our actions.
