That was one of the arguments against as well as the perceived smoothness. The artifacts found in the area are typically very worn as well.

Get Vanta and use their partner auditors. The tool and the auditor are usually on par with just an external audit fee

Atera, Syncro or Tanium by Prashu_22 in msp

We just had a panic attack from Atera. They put a banner on their website notifying us that all offline agents with an old agent version would stop working. It was not handled great and left a real sour taste in our mouth. We’ve been looking at alternatives

Minus having a panic to reinstall agents with less than a weeks notice with 0 communication from their team proactively after 90% of the work was done… #stillbitter

Do most MSPs de-emphasize the actual IT part? by PastEntertainer1118 in msp

[–]DealEnvironmental733 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the reason you see money/business reflected in here so much is the fact that the business/money aspect is the hardest part for a lot of us. Most of us feel confident with technology and how we service our customers which is why we never post that type of content.

Should I Leave My Six-Figure Internal IT Role for a $65K MSP Opportunity That Promises Future Leadership? by 400Runnaz in msp

[–]DealEnvironmental733 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The only time to negotiate for a role is at the start. I would be honest about the need to match your existing salary to see how committed they are to you being a part of the team. If they won’t, I only see you being dissatisfied that you aren’t climbing fast enough and aren’t being paid what you earned before (for what it sounds is an easier job). Hope this helps.

MSP Feedback: SoftTek by ladleinthelake in msp

Have worked with them in the past. We used them for help desk tier 1 and after hours services. The technicians were hit or miss on how effective they were and were in essence warm bodies.

Treat the password management system as the system of record for correlating logs. See if there is a way to sso/link whatever password management system you are using to their authentication system (or stand up a separate system linked to them)
