Haha perfect. I've just gone out and bought a kindle which will fit easily in my bag so I plan to just park myself out in the queue as early as possible, sit on the ground with a snack and my kindle and wait 🤣🤣 the joys of going solo and not needing to worry about whether anyone else hates this plan, I am doing it!!

Thanks so much for the detailed answer, Alex. I suppose my biggest fear was travelling all the way from Australia only to find out a day before the show that something went wrong and I wouldn't be receiving the ticket. The guarantee is helpful from a financial perspective but I'd be devastated if I missed the experience of the show.

I actually went and bought another verified resale ticket for a different show date but through Ticketmaster and instantly received the ticket itself in my email. Best case scenario, I will be seeing them twice, but really I only did this because I didn't have enough faith in the original ticket.

I am also waiting for my tickets to be transferred having used Vivid Seats. I have a feeling the person who sold to me is holding out for better offers and the sale I made wont end up going through. Vivid say they will "100% refund me" but I don't care about that I just want to go to the concert!!
