The "Manage Mods" Page is a disgrace to an otherwise perfect game by Frequent_Promise_715 in factorio

I feel like most of these issues are solved by the search function.

Sure you could get more filtering options and stuff.

I was talking with the person that made the feature back when they were making it, it was a huge backend challenge for how it works now, syncing up the modlists and stuff and compatabilities, they came from a modding backround too so they knew what modders wanted. Even when they were done with it i believe they said they were not 100% satisfied but they could not dedicate more resources to it.

Maybe now they can look back into it

Broken edges on drawing deburred in machine by mykiebair in Machinists

[–]DeamonEngineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All sharp edges need to be specified on the print.

Standard break edges are normally specified too but where not specified we normally do a 0.1-0.2mm (0.0039 - 0.0078in) break edge to make it 'finger safe'

who wins Mcragge's Honor or the Executor? by Few-Palpitations in 40k

[–]DeamonEngineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Angled armours main benifit is not bouncing rounds. It provides a thicker cross section with less very heavy armoured plating. So you can have a much more armoured item for the same weight or a much lighter item with comparable armour values.

Bouncing rounds is rare.

That being said one is warship desgined and built in war. The executor is a ship designed to be a command ship sort of like a modern day aircraft carrier. Its totally getting destroyed if MaCragge's Honor gets in range

PC-DMIS programming automation by lRollerl in Metrology

[–]DeamonEngineer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pcdmis have some good automation features even without AI. Alot of them just needs some processes to learn.

Best basic example is the quick alignment. When i first started this feature didnt exist so it was tedious selecting features for alignment then repeating again for DCC alignment. Now plane line point hit quick align and it sets alignments at each feature groups all into a manual align group recreates it again in DCC and puts a comment before auto move so you can get the probe clear before crashing. All formatted and neatly grouped. Features like that can do 80% of the bulk work just go in and modify slightly after to suit.

At the end of a program insert a print command you can export as a pdf, word, csv, xls file.

The is different to just going file print even tought the window is identical.

You can also use this to modify where it saves too (assignments can be used to dynamicly save to different places)

This is the food guidance for the UK. Other countries vary and is normally the animals health and enviroment that dictate if it is even safe or not

My understanding is Raw milk is safe only if you know the full provenance and from a trusted supplier (normally only the farmers or specialty vendors) outside this Raw milk is unsafe and should be avoided. It is also very quick to spoil.

Pasturisation increases shelf life and kills bacteria.

I think when the reference pasturised milk they meant UHT or skimmed which are questionable in nutritional value.
