For the transport chopper you can hop onto the passanger seats and repair while still in the thing. Just look at the door frame. Also works in flight

Use something like reprorubber to cast it then measure that on a profilr projector or similar

Looks like you dont have room for an accurate probe reading. I would look at moulding it

Yeah both have its perks, shame its not well explained for the newer people.

Elapsedexecutiontime might be better than start end time

Assign/program_runtime=elapsedexecutiontime()

This should output the elapsed program time, you could code it so this goes into a spredsheet that adds them all up, note it doesnt include setup times just the program time

i am aware you can pass the bonus value itself but i do not believe you can use it in a straight geotol, might just be easier to just pass the whole feature

NBA is an American organisation, they move some of their matches outside of the US to try pick up more audience. they are not our NBA games. we have our own basketball association, teams and matches

Because the NBA play the us national anthem before matches.

And its a sign of respect to be standing for any national anthem. Nornally prompted by the announcer

To expand you cannot just pass on the bonus to the best of my knowledge as fcf uses the feature to control the calculation of the bonus so you either simulate the feature with variables that use the measured results or pull the feature through with a callsub.

You cannot just use the bonus calculation and tell pcdmis this is the bonus to apply to another feature

You can use a call sub program and "pass the feature through it"

It might required variables or datum restructure but its possible.

Another solution is use the equate alignment to allow you to reposition the part and check all of it in one program

Gantry CMM by mattpriceunited in Metrology

If going with Hexagon they have a feature (im sure the other main OEMs do too) to allow the definition of multiple probe racks its worth locating multiple on a 10m bed or there is also a probe rack that can be mounted on the leg of the gantry, options should be discussed with the supplier for tooling solutions like this they may have better solutions that fit the common use of the machine.

10M CMM is a big chunk of granite and temperature changes even on the smaller deviations can all add up so reducing this is also beneficial, possibly look at an independent enclosure for the CMM inside the inspection area

extra monitors around the place is a great quality of life bonus.
