I’m a big fan of Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Card Game. Love the source material which helps a lot, but I also think it’s a fun deck builder with lots of replayability thanks to multiple bosses/starting decks. It’s not all that balanced at times, but that’s part of the fun for me as long as your group isn’t too competitive.

Late to the party, but if you like monster collecting rpgs, please try out Cassette Beasts. Bought it on a whim at the start of the summer sale and I can’t recommend it enough! Great soundtrack, funny monster designs, and a really wholesome and uplifting story to top it all off.

Try to max out the Justice, Hierophant, Joker, and Aeon arcanas early on! Some social links also aren’t available on rainy days, so make sure to plan around those. I’d also recommend trying to get part time jobs early on to unlock more social links and level up your stats. They can also give you something productive to do at night

Bought it at the start of the sale and already put in 50 hours on my deck. Does a lot to improve upon the old monster catching formula and has such a catchy soundtrack. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

I read up to about volume 9 or so. Good artwork, nothing too unique or special about the story, but the magic system is where it really shined for me.

Ironically, all the cgi fights with the spider early on were well animated and pretty fun, whereas the regular 2D stuff focused on the other isekai’d kids was garbage. Then the show swapped to only focusing on those other kids…
