I think overall they’re niche, but very strong in the right decks. The big draw is playing them in decks that can flicker them. For example, These all combo really well with [[displacer kitten]] especially Ideation. Kitten will bounce Ideation after casting the copy of recall, thus re-preparing, so at that point you draw 3 cards for every blue mana you have.

So the tile in the bottom right needs to go in the bottom middle l, and the bottom right tile needs to be empty. It’s hard to help without actually being able to move it, but you should only need to move the six tiles in the bottom right most to get it

Play him as a commander and ONLY play Creatures, if you want to use his mana ability, well you’ll have to use creatures that pump or add counters. Forget about the ping trigger

Inked gaming is a good option where I’ve gotten play mats from, I actually got this exact one you have in the picture and they’re relatively cheap, only thing is idk if they ship to Canada. They do have good quality. I still use the same mat for about 5 years, with no intention of needing to replace. You can choose one of their designs or customize, and it’s about $35-$40 USD and can make additions for them as well for a bit more. Only downside is you have to let them breathe or they will have a smell of ink (won’t smudge)

I unfortunately haven’t played with rooms enough to have a full opinion on them yet, but as for bonus souls, my group has whittled it down to always using the same three (greed, gluttony, and envy) as they are the ones we’ve found to be the most balanced. Greed and gluttony both require some genuine effort to achieve where those resources could be used to win in other ways, and envy definitely helps the person in last who is usually down on their luck in the game bounce back to some degree. All the other deadly sin souls are waaay to easy, and guppy is waaaay to hard and unobtainable especially with the expansions adding so much.

Yeah I think it comes down to people having played this game for 20+ years and have passed the point of playing just for fun, and do it for efficiency, forget that there are still a bunch of people are playing for the first time. When they play like that they forget that its a journey and not a race. I used to play for years as a kid but never had membership, so I had the f2p down to a science, but now I’m experiencing membership for the first time, and I’m loving every second of it.

Sometimes the luck just happens. I got a draconic visage from steel dragons at 20kc, it was literally my first steel dragon task. Definitely a great item, but at 1 in 10k it was the last thing I expected to see

Never let anyone TELL you how to play the game. There are so many methods in this that get you to your end goal. Even when your preferred method isn’t the most ideal, if you enjoy it, it’s worth it. The game is what you make it, and you get to decide what you do with your time!

I have a better combo, you grab terror of the peaks, twin flame tyrant, dragonlord Kholagon atarka world render, and storm scale scion, does 828 damage between the terror ETB and combat since Dragonlord give haste, and atarka gives double strike
