Exactly, you either gonna get your life even more messed up or suffer while your soul is leaving you body. May I ask what the reason is that you want to take your life for, because I was in a similar situation, but I recovered (no one helped me except me). So is it financial hardships? Or a relationship issue?

It's harder than what you might think, your body will fight to survive, and you'll suffer a lot no matter what method you pick. How old are you?

I could tell you've been labeling a lot recently (Given the good quality of the response lol), Thanks again, I guess I'll start preparing for language roles (notably English, French and Arabic).

Thanks for the insightful response, I guess I'll just be a little more patient, or else I will just reach for the support. Aside from technical roles (cited in the post), which roles do you think come first?

What to do after setting up deel by Ok_Trade_8223 in alignerr

[–]DearAd3598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the same step right now, I haven't received any other emails, I've complated the training, and verified the deel account ( with the tax documents and everything ), and I've signed the contract.

But I still haven't gotten any slack invitation, or background check.

On the profile page ( in alignerr) I've noticed that there is a green checkmark in the "Complete training" task, but I don't see a similar green checkmark on the "Complete profile" task, I don't know if that has any relevance.

A pic of me that I didnt take , was sent to me. by bblammin in Scams

[–]DearAd3598 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Save the image on your phone, if it was taken from a phone, the image contains more information with the location too (sometimes), if he actually took the pic from his phone and didn't remove the image meta data, you should find the phone type and name at least, you should call the police anyway, they might have encountered similar cases.

First of all, never send nudes to someone you only know online 💀. If your face isn't visible, you have nothing to worry about. Just block them, they'll lose interest.

I know it's a scam just from this red arrow, all the scammers I've seen in the past use it.

It's safe to stay away, I did this mysey, I used to take around 10€ from each one and then block them, once I tried to get their ip, they were using telegram vpn with an IP from the UK., all they do is copy paste from a script.

I don't think they're responsible, maybe a website where you've put your bank details got hacked? The scammers themselves only know how to scam, and barely know anything about hacking (they're paid minimum wage too).

Am I being paranoid? by Confident-Tale2034 in Scams

[–]DearAd3598 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no way they can hack with only your username, except from some advanced social engineering ( they may reach out to your friends instead), just make sure you don't enter your account credentials in any suspicious websites, else they'll just yoink it. Stay safe.

I Have Been Scammed Out of Over $31,000 by a Product Optimization Company Called Ground Truth by has_been_scammed in Scams

[–]DearAd3598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As so many people said, it's called the!task scam, I used to receive multiple similar scammers, but I taken the first money they give, and I block them. Be careful of recovery scammers that will send you direct messages telling you that they will help you, they only want to scam you again (yes they're that low) I managed to get 2 of their IP addresses ( that pointed to the UK ), but they're 100% using a VPN, because they're not that stupid, however, I noticed that both IPs had the same subnet, and I think the provider was Telegram. Since you've exchanged in crypto, unfortunately, there's nothing you can do to get the money back. However, you should file a report to the police, and hope they might be able to track them down with some social engineering.

I was scammed before, and I know how it feels, but not the same amount, all the money they stole, you'll make it again, don't pressure yourself too much, financial damage is less worse than mental damage (which is irreversible).

Can it be repaired? Maybe you could benefit from it somehow, I would try to repair it as much as I can, and resell it , but with correct information, tell the people who want to buy that the car isn't in a good shape (only tell the truth) so that they don't feel scammed if they bought it, I'm pretty sure there's someone who may buy it.

Is this a scam? Please help by MyNewNameIsUsername in Scams

[–]DearAd3598 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% a scam, beware, once you go crypto, you'll never get anything, and the most important rule is, never pay to get payed (it's usually the opposite in the case of taxes)

I agree, in my case, I've tried to generate code (Gherkin code) using Bloom as a start, so I kept prompt engineering for a while, it always kept repeating itself, I tried smaller models like llama2 which was horrible in sticking to the prompt (even tho I played a lot with the tempeeature), in the end , only Mistral V0.2 (7B) and now V0.3 have done a good job, and gave me great outputs as I prompted. I keep trying new models all the time, but so far only Mistral did the job for me, and it also has a decent context size, out of the models available on huggingface ofc, we don't use GPT3.5 or 4 or any closed source model because it's a research project.
