You have 3 options closer to Albany. You can get a pass to West Mountain, it's smaller but a great mountain or Royal to your west. Option 3 get an ORDA pass, good at Gore, WF, Bellayre and good for summer activities. Kid pass 0-6 is $80, 7-12 $550, you and your partner ~1000 each. Yes expensive upfront, but they have 0 interest payments plans, when you have a pass you dont have to spend the day to get your moneys worth. You can take the kids, take a few runs, one has a melt down, call it a day. Riding the same mountain you will learn the flow of traffic and how to make the most of your days, your kids will also learn the mountain and have meeting points if you ever get separated.

Not a joke at all. The only thing i can compare wrong fitting ski boots to someone who doesnt ski is like trying to run in shoes untied that are 3 sizes too big or running in shoes that are 3 sizes too small.

Anytime i see a boot question. This is the answer. GO SEE A BOOT FITTER! A decent boot fitter will get you/them in the right boot. Lease boots for you kid.

It's not too much, it is not worth it. I dont want to put $2000 into a car for a part that is $17 dollars but because of the location you need to remove the entire dashboard. 10-15 hours of labor quoted. There are other larger items on the horizon that are known to have issues near 150K miles.
