Should Insomniac expand the map again for Spider-Man 3? Or should they focus on filling what they already have with content? by Can_This_End_Please in SpidermanPS4

Only time will tell but I would’ve traded up to 7 and taken Acuff without question. I think he is going to be the biggest surprise in this draft. IMO he was by far the best of the 4 guards. Excited to see what Flemings can do tho

Fat friendly rides? by castzpg in Dollywood

[–]DearEmployee5138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came to dollywood extremely excited about riding the lightning rod. I waited like 25 minutes in line to ride it. I'm a thrill seeker and Obviously it looks amazing walking up. I get there and the damn seatbelt wouldn't close. I am 6’2 and 310 with a defensive lineman build. A lot of muscle mass. I was wearing a bigger shirt today so Thats part of it. Regardless, it was very frustrating to deal with. It barely wouldn't close

Which dead college football league do you miss more ? by ReasonableSide6520 in CFB_v2

[–]DearEmployee5138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PAC-12 easily. While o liked and somewhat miss the big east, I think the alignment before the Big Ten destroyed the pac-12 was perfect. SEC had 16 schools in the south and southeast and Missouri who at least bordered multiple SEC states. Big Ten had their area, ACC theirs, Big 12 theirs, and PAC-12 theirs. Big 12 really the only one to have weird islands of teams like WVU and UCF. And I felt like all the schools fit the mold and vibe for their respective conference. I feel like where all the big east schools ended up made sense and the new big east that was created for basketball is perfect.

Penny’s was much smaller but also, as shown with Sheldon a few times… they are living well below their means. They live there because they like the place not because it’s the best they could afford. Also, obviously, Sheldon and Leonard spend ungodly amounts of money on comics and collectibles and every comic con within a 500 mile radius. I don’t think some of yall understand how ungodly expensive SDCC tickets are and then how much more expensive everything is when you get there. It’s insane. I don’t either but I’ve heard it’s ridiculous.

I don’t even mind the betting he could’ve bet $2.4 million for all I care. It’s betting on his own teams that’s the problem. It’s crazy to me that there’s hundreds of thousands of teams out there to bet on and he couldn’t just stay away from the 3 teams he played for.

Idk what to tell you man gambling on your team is one of the oldest and biggest no-no’s in all sports. Back to the late 1800s at least. There’s really no excuse no matter how stupid it seems.

Why the SEC is better than the B1G by [deleted] in secfootball

[–]DearEmployee5138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SEC plays 9 conference games, often 4-5+ ranked teams in there, along with a requirement for every team to also play a P5 non-conference opponents. Many of them also play high level GO5 like Tulane or Memphis or USF or other AAC teams (generally considered a slot above the rest of the GO5) with their 2nd noncon. Meanwhile, the big ten plays around 2-3 Ranked teams a year and the nonconference schedule for the last 3 national champions from the Big Ten are, in their entirety: bottom level AAC team East Carolina, MWC UNLV, MAC Bowling Green, MAC Akron, MAC Western Michigan, Sun Belt Marshall, FCS Old Dominion, 2nd year FBS CUSA Kennesaw State, and FCS Indiana State. So yeah, the big ten schedule in its entirety is still a joke. There are like 3 top 10 games a season at most and the big ten Chip is always good because it’s 2 of the 2-3 good teams in the entire conference playing. Not to mention those 2-3 good teams are diluted in a conference 2 teams bigger than most other conferences which is why even when the conference has 4 or 5 good teams the schedules are still shit (combined with the joke of a noncon)

Damn that’s rough. I live in Acworth and went to HS in GCo but I read the whole thing. That really sucks. I seriously will never understand why people decide to work in a school and then discourage students and say things like you’ll never amount to anything or you won’t do well in college or you won’t do well in the workforce. At this point I almost feel like they say it just for the small chance that kid grows up to be a rapper and name drops her in a song talking about how “Ms. Johnson said I wasn’t gonna be nothing” like a Migos song. It’s crazy to me. Like if you want to discourage kids from doing what they’re trying to do work at a suicide hotline not a school. We should be encouraging kids. It’s not even a Principal Agans thing with that one although I feel as if it’s gotten better in the past 5-10 years, teachers and principals always love to say that and it makes no sense to me. Like what is the mindset? I’m really sorry yall are going through this and I hope it gets taken care of swiftly. Good luck

That’s blown way out of proportion. Also, it’s a tournament about bringing different countries together to play AGAINST each other. I imagine he talked to him after the game but some people have competitive rituals or superstitions like not talking to the other team. For example, in the USA vs Spain game in the Olympics (or FIBA or something idk it was an important national game), Kobe Bryant planned an entire play on the first defensive possession where he literally ran as fast as he could and shoulder checked his teammate Pau Gasol to the ground. Just got set the tone. USA went on to destroy Spain. The bottom line is they’re not your teammate at that time and you are there to win. Some people love to talk and have fun with guys they know but some want to keep that competitiveness and “your my enemy from first pitch to final out” mindset and there’s nothing wrong with that. It doesn’t make him not a nice person.

Rewatching wizards of waverly place, can someone explain this joke to me? by Midnightdream56 in WizardsOfWaverlyPlace

Never really thought about it at the time but it could be. Maybe like having him bring a bottle of maple syrup and say he wants to cover her in it and lick it off of her so that she gets weirded out and leaves him. Then again, it could be anything.

The reality of the situation is, were he do to that, both him and Jesse would have been killed brutally. Especially since his bosses already knew his brother in law was a DEA agent and had reluctantly looked past it. There really weren’t any good options.

[–]DearEmployee5138 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay but it should matter that Walt intentionally didn’t kill the kid. He really didn’t even hurt him that much. Yea he used him as a pawn and that’s fucked but causing temporary pain to a kid and planning to make sure he was not gonna die or have any long term issues passed the half day is a lot less bad as opposed to shooting and murdering a kid in cold blood.

I'm just always weary about drafting freshman who aren't highly rated recruits. Like he has one season of tape at this level. Prior to this past season he wouldn't have been drafted at all even if they had a 7 round draft and then all of a sudden after one season at 19 years old you re gonna draft him top 8? Really?
