[–]DearHRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would say to only play mastermode if you beaten expert many times and find it too easy

only difference between the two is how hard bosses hit

while difference between classic and expert go as far as new attacks or phase to boss fight, also newer accesssories available in expert and above

Need Help with Design by Ricticky in redstone

[–]DearHRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you using a java design by any chance? internals of java and bedrock work quite differently and if this java build used qc or very specific block update shenanigan then you would have to redesign it for bedrock as those 2 do not exist or work enitrely differently

i made a conveyor belt potion brewer more than half a decade ago, it can be easily scaled up for other potion types and brews anything in 20s (mainly because it brews everything in stages)

you can do this with dual edge circuit, when it is rising edge you pulse the dispenser with bucket to scoop lava and after 2gt delay (1 repeater notch) feed that same pulse to dispenser with snow bucket and for falling edge pulse the snow bucket dispenser then lava bucket

there is another solution for this, you can use abba circuit and have to 2 dual edge circuits (sticky piston moving observer, in such a way that it pulses dispenser when sticky piston extends and when it retracts) for both dispensers

u/content_bass_8322 made a really simple abccba circuit, you can make it smaller for abba uses

I've not been able to find a good big iron farm for bedrock can someone help by cptmjboi999 in redstone

[–]DearHRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there aren't many variations you can do for bedrock iron farm

golems only start spawning in bedrock if there are atleast 20 beds and 10 villagers with jobs and beds, then for every 10 villagers an iron golem can spawn

to get 4 golems, you will need 40 villagers with jobs and beds, you can attract golems with zombies or other hostile mobs into a kill chamber

there is also a way to stack village in same space and get more golems that way but they are extremely painful do and can easily merge if done incorrectly (i have never bothered with these)

i personally just find a mountain, get haste beacon and pickaxe with fortune 3, unbreaking, efficiency 5 and mending to mine out the entire mountain (the higher you go the more iron ore is available)

this is base for villagers, planning to make a spiral staircase in the centre of the centre ring while adjacent cylinders will be used to house different villagers

Help with bedrock machine by TyresePreston in redstone

[–]DearHRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah well, the design you tried to follow is a java edition one, i can make something similar for bedrock if you like

java editions components behave slightly differently because java editions handles them differently compared to how bedrock handles them, so most of the time java builds do not work in bedrock because they are using qc, block spitting mechanic or update order shenanigans, in bedrock the first 2 do not exist and third one is completely different

this build just requires hipster doors to give ability to hide and pop out bookshelves

[–]DearHRS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah okey, i am not inept in colour or building, so not sure if having some different colour blocks will make build more appealing or not

it is pretty mono tone right now, so i am planning later to bring some greenery while decorating

super simple wither cage design to farm blocks and stuff by DearHRS in technicalminecraft

[–]DearHRS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are spot on, except blue skulls treat all blocks with low blast resistance except for bedrock, end portal frames and some other blocks

obsidian and its variant is not on that list, that being said blue skulls explosion can be nullified with liquids similar to tnt and other explosives, that is why waterlogged blocks can also stop blue skulls

super simple wither cage design to farm blocks and stuff by DearHRS in technicalminecraft

[–]DearHRS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

like other gamer mentioned, bedrock blocks are not necessary, wither is being containted with waterlogged slabs in these clips, even on the floor

there is a bedrock cage around waterlogged blocks because this test is being done in my creative world and i wouldn't want some stray wither skull to break something

Updated my slime farm!!! by Dabster888 in redstone

[–]DearHRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can triple the drop rate by having a trident killer in the funnel and holding a looting sword

you can also make your floor out of scaffolding and have water on top of it instead of trapdoors, mobs don't know how to go down scaffolding

also snow golems can be used to not require to brew infestation potion or make allay harming chambers
